Xiaogang park is located at the southwest end of Qianjin Road, Haizhu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. It is a professional park mainly composed of bamboo forest. It was built and opened in 1975. Because there is a historic site Xiaogang bridge in the park, it is named after homonym. With a total area of 167000 square meters, it is the park with the most ornamental bamboos planted in Guangzhou. The park is divided into North and south parts by Ma Yong, which runs through Henan Province and connects the front and rear waterways of the Pearl River. It is located in the south section of Qianjin Road. It used to be rivers, swamps and hills. Because there are historic sites in the park, Xiaogang bridge. The water area is 47300 square meters. There are more than 120 kinds of bamboo in the park. There are artificial lakes and elegant pavilions, platforms, corridors and pavilions. Xiaogang Park, the first emergency shelter in Guangzhou, was built in July 2006. Xiaogang park is a professional park dominated by bamboo forest. Located at the southwest end of Qianjin Road, Haizhu District, the park was originally named "Bamboo Park". It was built in 1958 and changed to its current name in 1960. After 1972, pavilions and pavilions, such as double pavilions, square pavilions, bridges and pavilions, and lake embankments were successively built for greening and landscaping. It was officially opened on February 11, 1975. Xiaogang park is mainly for quiet rest. The layout is characterized by making full use of the natural terrain and water lakeshore, and according to the idea that "pavilions are all facing water", it is skillfully decorated with buildings and greening. In the southeast of the park, there is a red rock hill with mottled waves, which is an example of changing the sea into a mulberry field. To the west of the Red Rock Hill is a hillside bamboo forest. It is said that it is the site where the palace maids practiced archery in the Southern Han Dynasty, called zoumagang. Next to it is the "Haizhu junior forest", with kapok, Casuarina and Araucaria.
