Xiao Peng Xian Guan
Pengxian Pavilion is a three way building, which was built in Qingdao guangnian. It is located in the east of Xinlong Sha, Huadi street.
Scenery
Pengxian hall was built in the reign of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty and rebuilt in the sixth year of Xianfeng (1856). It is located in the north and south, with a main hall, a jingshe, a small garden behind the hall. The winding path is quiet, and the stone of tingtai mountain is beautiful. During the reign of Emperor Guangxu, the immortal hall was renamed "Qigong Temple" and "Bagong Temple", and was used to set up schools. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was occupied by Fangcun Public Security Bureau and Fangcun cultural center. In 1958, it became a steel-making place and was seriously damaged. Now there are only the front hall and the side rooms on both sides, but we can still see the high level of its construction.
The stone forehead of the front hall "xiaopengxian hall" is 80cm square official script, vigorous and powerful. The words "Qingjing" and "Pingdi" are written above the lintels of the two side doors. There is a line under the eaves of the gables of the front hall, on which there is a picture of "flowers bloom and wealth". All of them are brick carvings, with clear lines and fine carving. Under the eaves is a long woodcut relief about 10 meters long and 40 cm wide, with more than 20 groups of flower, fruit and vegetable patterns. It is a rare woodcut art with local characteristics. There is brandy in the fairy house, which has always been praised by people.
history
There have always been different opinions about who built the pavilion. First, it was built by Taoist badminton. It was built by Kang Youwei's grandfather. It is also said that ye Mingchen, a former governor of Guangdong and Guangxi, built it on the orders of his father. According to the research of relevant departments and people in recent years, the Xiaopeng fairy house should have been built by Kang Youwei's grandfather. It was a custom at that time to take the name of the fairy house as a symbol of elegance. Around 1867, young Kang Youwei read here. Xiaopengxian Pavilion is listed as a cultural relic protection unit under the internal control of Guangzhou Municipal People's government.
In 2001, due to the construction of the Pearl River tunnel, the protective relocation of xiaopengxianguan was started. The relocated Pavilion is located in zuiguan Park, Fangcun, Liwan District.
