Jiguanshan natural park is located in the northwest corner of Chongzhou City, Sichuan Province, and on the western edge of Chengdu Plain. It borders on the old shed of Yanfeng village, Gou hometown, Chongzhou city in the East, Dayi County in the south, miaojiling snow mountain with an altitude of 5364 meters in the west, Wenchuan County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in the north, and "Siguniang" mountain, which is snow free all year round. It is the only giant panda nature reserve in Chengdu-- Anzihe Giant Panda Nature Reserve. The forest coverage rate is 95%, and it is famous for its unique natural and beautiful landscapes such as "mountain peaks, forests, waterfalls, snow mountains, hot springs, sea of clouds, giant pandas" and human culture.

Jiguanshan natural park covers an area of 108 square kilometers, of which about 50 square kilometers were awarded the title of world natural heritage by UNESCO in 2006.

Brief introduction of the park

In anzihe Giant Panda Nature Reserve, there are a large number of giant pandas living and reproducing here, with a wide range of distribution, known as the "love corridor for giant pandas". A panda breeding base nearest to the metropolis will be built in Jiguanshan natural park. Wild animals are widely distributed in the park, and the population density of rare wild animals such as gazelle, golden monkey and red panda is also very high. Golden monkey often appears in groups at an altitude of 2000-3000 meters. In hongshuihei, heidang, yeniudong and other places, it is the so-called "cattle farm", which is the place where the gazelle usually lives and adds infinite vitality and interest to the scenic spot.

In the park, the forest is beautiful, pure and primitive, with luxuriant trees, exotic flowers and a wide variety of species, which are characterized by "strong, beautiful, strange, rare and beautiful". The forest coverage rate is more than 95%. There are rare plants Davidia involucrata, Ginkgo biloba and Metasequoia glyptostroboides that belong to the national first and second level key protection. Their landscapes are shaped according to the mountain situation and change colorful at any time. They are of great ornamental and scientific investigation value.

There are eight peaks in the park, such as Jiguan peak, the first peak in Shuzhou, which is 3868 meters above sea level. They are "majestic, strange, broad and dangerous". The stone mountain, with a line of cliffs and broken rocks in the East, is more than 2000 meters long and more than 100 meters high. It rises from the alpine grassland, and Chifeng points to the blue sky, which is extremely magnificent. From May to June every year, thousands of acres of rhododendrons bloom on the meadow, forming a sea of flowers, which adds infinite charm to the peak. What's more precious is the V-shaped alpine meadow belt in the north corner of Jiguan mountain, 3000-3300 meters above sea level, which is unique in Western Sichuan. It is 2.5 kilometers long from east to west and 0.8 kilometers wide from north to south, with an average slope of 8.33 degrees, forming a natural alpine skiing and grass skiing ground.

Water in the garden

The park has beautiful water scenery, high mountains and clear waters, waterfalls and flowing springs, forming a very rich and colorful waterfall landscape, which is characterized by: falling water ladder cloth, waterfalls cluster, beautiful scenery. At the foot of huoshaoying mountain, there is a 30 meter high waterfall 500 meters away from the gully. There is 80 meter high Dafei water 500 meters above it.
