Princess Xijun is the daughter of Liu Jian, king of Jiangdu (now Yangzhou). During the reign of Yuanfeng (105 BC), Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty married Wu sun Kun mo (King) as a princess of the Han Dynasty and became his wife. Later, because of hunting arrogance, she was very old. According to the custom, she gave Princess Xijun sun cenzou as her wife. The princess built a palace in Xiadu (now Zhaosu grassland). In the third year of Taichu (101 BC), Xijun died of illness. According to experts, the princess was buried here. In 2004, Luo Zhewen, head of the ancient architecture expert group of the State Administration of cultural relics and President of the Chinese society of cultural relics, wrote inscriptions for the tomb of Princess Xijun in Zhaosu. In June 2005, a grand unveiling ceremony of the tomb of Princess Xijun was held in Xiata, Zhaosu.
"My family married me in heaven and entrusted a foreign country to Wusun king.". The marriage and alliance between Han Dynasty and Wusun was to contain the Xiongnu forces. Princess Xijun, known as "the first person in the Han Dynasty", took the responsibility with her weak body, which laid the foundation for the western regions to be formally incorporated into the territory of the motherland, promoted the cultural exchanges between the Central Plains and the western regions, and formed a multi-ethnic Chinese family. The famous historical pen has a long history.
