Ciyun nunnery
Ciyun'an is located on Zaoqing mountain at the junction of Tongcheng, Zongyang and Lujiang in Shagang village of kongcheng town. It is said that it was built in Zhenguan period of Tang Dynasty. After the vicissitudes, ups and downs repeatedly. Most of the buildings are built in the 1990s. There are five main halls. In the middle block, the inscription "the Great Hall" is written by Mr. Zhao Puchu. In the hall, there are three Buddhas, Maitreya, Weituo, Manjusri, Puxian and eighteen Arhats. On the back is an island with vivid shape and realistic expression, which is the only island in Tongcheng at present. The south block is Guanyin Pavilion, with Guanyin in the middle and shancai and Longnv on both sides. There are also the king of medicine and three ladies. The North block is the Buddhist Chanting hall and the ancestral hall, with the Zhaitang and Liaofang beside. The main hall on the top of the back mountain is dizang hall. Weituo hall, located in his royal highness daxiongbao, was built in 2004.
Zaoqingshan is independent of pingchou green field, with gentle mountains and verdant trees. The top of Ciyun nunnery is built in accordance with the situation. The buildings are well arranged, the eaves of the buildings are tilted, and the corridors are winding. Under the cover of the green forest, it is even more magnificent and elegant. Standing on the top of the mountain overlooking the southwest, the clear kongcheng river flows out from the foot of the mountain. The endless hills and plains are like a huge emerald. It's a good opportunity for pilgrims to take a bath and enjoy the picturesque scenery of the green mountains, and then look far away. Mountains are not high, but immortals are famous. Caiaoqingshan is famous for its Ciyun nunnery (so it is called zaoqingshan). Ciyun nunnery also attracts more tourists because of its beautiful zaoqingshan.
