Tseung Kwan O
Tseung Kwan O, a bay of Hong Kong, is located in the southwest of Sai Kung District, new territories. The coast of Tseung Kwan O, also known as Tseung Kwan O, lies to the east of the Kowloon Peninsula. Tiaojingling in the west, liyumen in the southwest, Qingshuiwan Peninsula in the East and biwuao in the north. Tseung Kwan O, originally a sparsely populated rural area, has developed into a new town in recent years.

Tseung Kwan O is located in the southeast of the new territories and belongs to the Sai Kung District. With a total area of 1080 hectares, it is one of the new town developments in Hong Kong. The population is about 257000. In addition to Cuilin and Kangsheng garden to the west of Tseung Kwan O (yishandelai). Most of the land is reclaimed from the sea. It was inhabited as early as 300 years ago. At that time, most of them were fishing villages, including Tseung Kwan O Village (adjacent to Tseung Kwan O temporary housing), squid Bay Village (behind Tseung Kwan O government secondary school, Kengkou village, Tien Ha Wan Village, etc.
In 1983, the territory development department developed Tseung Kwan O as a new town. It is also the seventh new town to be developed by the government. Its plans are divided into three phases. The first phase is the development of Cuilin and Baolin, the second phase is the Bay reclamation and the development of the city center, and the third phase is the reclamation including the city center and the southern part of the bay. In 1988, there were residents living in Cuilin estate and Baolin village. In 1990, the second phase of the project was also developed. In the early 1990s, there were residents living in Jinglin and Houde. Finally, Shangde and Mingde villages also moved in in 1999 and 2000.
The industrial village in Tseung Kwan O is the third industrial village in Hong Kong (Tai Po Industrial Village, Yuen Long Industrial Village). It was completed in 1997.

Industry
Located in the east of Tseung Kwan O, Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate provides land for different industries to set up factories. It is the third industrial village in Hong Kong and was opened in 1995. Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering, one media and TVB all set up factories here.
Traffic information
The main public transport modes in Tseung Kwan O are MTR and bus.
The Tseung Kwan O Metro branch line was opened to traffic in August 18, 2002. There are seven stations on the line, including Tsing Keng Ling Station, Tseung Kwan O station, Hang Hau Station and Bao Lin station in Tseung Kwan O area.
The bus routes in Tseung Kwan O are mainly operated by Kowloon bus and new world first bus.
The first bus route in Tseung Kwan O is route 30 (opened in 1962) from Tiu Keng Leng to Kowloon City Pier.
