Guanglu Island

Guanglu Island, located in the west of Changshan Islands in the north of Yellow Sea, is a national Island Forest Park and one of the scenic spots in Liaoning Province. Administratively, it belongs to guangludao Town, Changhai County. The town is composed of 23 small islands, mounds and reefs, with a land area of 31.5 square kilometers, a sea area of 1000 square kilometers and a coastline of 74 kilometers. It is the largest island in the Changshan Archipelago. There are about 13000 residents.

Guanglu Island, the Pearl in the sea

In Changhai County, Dalian City, there are many large and small islands, like pearls scattered in the sea, including a very beautiful island - Guanglu island.

Guanglu island has a unique geographical environment. It is adjacent to Dalian Jinshitan national tourist resort in the west, and across the sea from Pikou, Dengshahe and other important towns in southern Liaoning in the north. It is the nearest island to Dalian in the Changshan Archipelago, known as "Dalian gateway".

Guanglu island has a long history. Convenient transportation and advanced communication. There are daily direct flights to xingshutun port and Pikou port.

Guanglu island is rich in soil and abundant in fresh water resources. It has the most fresh water among many islands in Changhai County.

Historical legend

At the foot of the old fellow iron mountain in the southwest of Guangzhou Island, there is a huge stone standing in the sea, far away from twenty meters, as if a giant were standing on the sea. This is the famous general stone.

Five hundred years ago, the deer island was a rich treasure land, with deer on the mountain, fish and shrimp in the sea, especially in the old fellow iron mountain. People often find a pair of golden children playing in the mountains, and they all regard them as treasures. One night, a pirate ship came to Guanglu island to take away the golden children. The island immediately organized a group of people to light the torch, holding sticks, ushered in the pirate ship. The leader is a big man with great strength. He has always been good at martial arts. He is able to throw a stone weighing dozens of Jin. He can throw a mile or two away and hit a hundred goals. Under his leadership, the pirates were driven away with sticks and stones. The little golden boy was saved, but the pirates would never give up. The big man took his daughter and called people from door to door to prepare for another battle. After they were organized, they unanimously elected the Great Han as the general to protect the island. The old fellow led us to dig a hole in the south side of the old iron mountain. People stood at the entrance of the cave to look at the sea. The big man also led everyone to prepare big and small stones for the pirates.

Half a year later, at noon, four big pirate ships sailed madly to Guanglu island. When the pirate ship landed, the general ordered us to push the prepared stones from the mountain into the sea, smashing the two pirate ships to pieces. The general led everyone down the mountain and beat the pirates to death and hurt them. The rest jumped on the other two pirate ships and prepared to flee. The general threw a stone in a hurry. Unexpectedly, he was hit by the secret arrow from the pirate ship and fell down.

The next day, in the place where the general fell down, the sea water seemed to be boiling, whistling, and suddenly a huge stone stood up. People looked like the general. His daughter saw it and rushed to it. Before she got close, she froze and turned into a huge stone. People call the huge stone like a general "general's stone". Father and daughter stand on the shore of Guanglu Island, guarding the island day and night.

Three official temples in the beautiful legend of Guanglu Island

Da Sanguan, whose full name is "Da Ben Guan Miao Tun", is located in the north of Guanglu Island, under the jurisdiction of tangwa village. In the early years, there was a "Sanguan Temple" built in the village, which was called "big Sanguan temple village".

Then, what are the "three officials" in this temple?

A long time ago, Zhao Gongming, the God of wealth, passed by Guanglu island when he came to the world to spread his wealth. His beast accidentally pulled a piece of excrement on the roadside of Sanguan temple village and turned into a "fragrant fruit", which happened to be picked up and eaten by three brothers who begged everywhere. Since then, the three brothers have become very smart and can predict the future. They began to get rich and help the poor everywhere. They are in charge of money, grain and grass. They are called "three officials" of money, grain and grass.

One day, Zhao Gongming, the God of wealth, asked everyone to build a temple beside the road to honor the three brothers. The temple was soon built. I'm glad to hear that my brother from other places wants to be the first one in the temple. As a result, the third brother got one step ahead and sat on the first chair in the middle; the second brother got one step late and sat on the east side angrily; the elder brother finally arrived and had to sit on the west side bitterly. After the three brothers died and returned to their original position, people found that the third one in the middle had a pleasant face; the second one in the East was angry and had a purple face; while the first one in the West was calm and dignified, but had a helpless face.

From then on, people worshipped the three officials of "money, grain and grass" with strong fragrance, so they called this temple "big three official Temple" and this village "big three official Temple".

May to October is the best tourism season in Liaoning Province, and January to February is the best time to enjoy ice and snow landscape and folk festivals.

Guanglu Island, located in the southeast of Liaodong Peninsula, has a temperate continental climate with four distinct seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter. 1. Xingshutun port, Jinzhou

Starting from Dalian railway station, take express to xingshutun port in Jinzhou in about 1 hour and 20 minutes, and take ro ro ship to beixiaoquan port in Guanglu island in 50 minutes. The speedboat will arrive in 30 minutes. Tickets: 40 yuan for RO ro tickets and 50 yuan for speedboats. There are 4-6 flights per day in off-season and 8-12 flights per day in peak season.

2. Pikou port: the home port of Guanglu Island

There is a long-distance bus from beigangqiao passenger station in Dalian to Pikou port. It takes one hour from Pikou port to Duoluo home port in Guanglu Island, and the ticket price is 45 yuan. One flight per day in off-season and four flights per day in peak season.

Main attractions

Mazu Temple

Mazu temple was built in the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty. After reconstruction, Mazu temple has a construction area of 204 square meters. It is dedicated to the statue of Mazu and the three officials of heaven, earth and water. Every time Mazu temple fair, people in southern Liaoning vie to worship on the island. There is constant incense in Mazu temple, and more than ten thousand visitors visit it every year.

Every year on June 16 of the lunar calendar, the believers go to the temples on the island one after another to burn incense and pray for good weather, grain harvest, fish and shrimp, and prosperity.

Xiaozhushan site

Xiaozhushan site is located on Xiaozhushan in tangwa village, Guanglu Township, Changhai County, Dalian city. The site is adjacent to the hilly platform in the south, Changsi mountain in the East and Yazigou Tiger Mountain in the West. It is 100 meters long and 50 meters wide in north-south direction. It is 300-400 meters away from wujiacun site. The peak is relatively flat. There is a seasonal stream in the north, turning from east to west and flowing into the Yellow Sea 1.5 kilometers north.

In the Xiaozhushan site, a Jade axe made of jade was also found. Its discovery shows that as early as six or seven thousand years ago, the primitive inhabitants of Dalian area had high cutting and carving and grinding techniques for the processing and production of jade. A stone pendant with symbolic nature was also unearthed. It provides important information for the study of prehistoric jade culture, the origin of primitive religion and totem culture in Eastern Liaoning.

Xiaozhushan site exhibition hall was established in 2010, with an area of 200 meters, including a restoration room of 50 square meters and an exhibition room of 150 square meters. It is divided into three exhibition halls, mainly displaying pottery, stone tools, bone ware, jade, etc. excavated from Xiaozhushan site.

The fairy cave

"Shenxian cave" is big outside and small inside. The entrance is about two or three Zhang square and more than 30 meters deep. If you go further inside, the entrance suddenly shrinks to a round hole of only about half a meter. According to historical records, the "immortal cave" is tens of kilometers deep, connecting the mainland from the bottom of the sea. If a person enters the cave, he can only climb and can not turn back. It is said that a young man on the mainland had explored the cave curiously in the early days, but he only entered the cave but did not come out, leaving people with an eternal "unsolved case".
