Zayeba Grottoes group is one of the four major retreat sites in Tibet during the Tubo Period. It is located in the mountains of larningbo, about 20 kilometers northeast of Lhasa. This is a holy land of Tibetan Buddhism, which is composed of strange peaks, strange rocks, streams, grasslands, caves and temples. It not only has a long history and many spiritual places, but also has wonderful scenery, which makes people forget to return. There is a Tibetan saying: "the spirit of Tibet lies in Lhasa, and Lhasa lies in Yeba." "if you don't go to Yeba in Lhasa, it means that you forget to make a collar for a new garment." We can see the status of zayba in the minds of Tibetan Buddhist believers.

Take a car from Lhasa to the East, cross a steep mountain behind Najin power station, go along the Yeba Valley and enter the mountain of larningbu, and you will arrive at your destination. There are many small temples in zayeba, the most famous of which is zulakang, which was built by the Tibetan king Songzanganbu and the Tibetan concubine mangsa Chizun for worshiping the Buddha. There is also a temple called sanalin, which was built by kezhujie gelebasan, the eldest disciple of zongkaba. In the temple, there is a three story Qiangba (Maitreya) Buddha statue, which is the highest Buddha statue in the former Tibetan area. Zayeba is famous for its Buddhist caves, which are said to have 108. Among them, the most representative is Fawang cave, which is the resting place of King Songzanganbu of Tibet; Yueliang cave, where master lianhuasheng is said to have carried out double cultivation; zushi cave, which is the cave where adixia, the founder of Tibetan Buddhism, lived in; Lalong cave, which is said to be the hiding place of Lama lalongbeduo, a Buddhist monk in the middle of the 9th century, who assassinated the Tibetan king langdama who was against Buddhism in Lhasa alone, thus becoming a Buddhist monk A famous person in history.
