Sanbao international ceramic village is composed of an old farm house and ceramic workshop. There are original living scenes and plots here. The courtyard wall was built 20 years ago by villagers using the "dry base" technology. The furnishings in the house are also the production and living utensils used by villagers more than 20 years ago. Nearly 10 craftsmen use the most primitive method to produce ceramics and pottery tools here. Many ceramic artists at home and abroad have come to live here for a long time to create ceramic art. It has become the source of "pottery" for people who love pottery.
Although it is not a scenic spot, it is better than a scenic spot. In addition to the artistic temperament of Beijing 798, it also has local culture and original living environment.

brief introduction
More than ten miles southeast of Jingdezhen City, there is an old farm house and ceramic workshop called Sanbao international ceramic village. The whole village looks like a very old farmyard, Inside the door is a clay sign, which is inlaid with many pieces of porcelain and pottery works. In the courtyard, there is a stream from the outside. The water is clear and the bottom is clear. Some of the porcelain bowls and tiles are buried in the mud. The ancient wooden farm tools and local daily necessities are quietly on one side. The big red spring festival couplets are pasted on the log door. Log long Pavilion, log farmer's bucket is chair. It's casual, simple, disorganized, but natural.
Here are the original living scenes and plots: the house was bought from villagers, the courtyard wall was built 20 years ago by villagers using the "dry base" technology, and the furnishings in the house were also the production and living utensils used by villagers more than 20 years ago. Nearly 10 craftsmen used the most primitive method to produce ceramics and pottery tools here. Since the formal opening to the outside world in 2000, nearly 1000 foreign ceramic artists have come here to create, exchange and visit, and nearly 500 people have lived here for a long time. The unique primitive customs and the influx of foreigners make Sanbao international ceramic village a world-famous paradise.
In addition to the living area, there are studios, ceramic art museums, traditional porcelain tools, firewood kilns, folk artists, etc. there is a ceramic wall made of "rubbish" in the real sense, such as Guanyin with broken arms, leader with cracks, Bodhisattva without head, even a piece of cake, a bowl bottom, and a deformed dragon jar. This sorted tradition has become modern in a complete sense.
Sanbao village is a ceramic workshop courtyard of an old-fashioned farmhouse. The earthen courtyard wall made of "dry base" and a clear brook pass through the courtyard. The courtyard is full of traces of years of hard work - porcelain bowls, porcelain pieces, many half hidden in the mud.
Li Jianshen is the founder of "Sanbao international ceramic village". He graduated from the New York State Ceramic Institute with a master's degree in ceramic art. He has held individual ceramic art exhibitions in Japan, Canada, the United States, the Netherlands and other countries.
"I'm a native of Jingdezhen." Mr. Li said: "the experience of more than ten years abroad has made me understand what ceramics is." In 1998, Li Jianshen bought several old houses called "sijiali" in the southeast suburb of Jingdezhen city. These old houses built with earth walls and wood are today's "Sanbao international ceramic village".
In Sanbao, Mr. Li restored the traditional Chinese ceramic production scene. The furnishings in the house are the production and living utensils used by villagers more than 20 years ago. Every day, nearly 10 craftsmen here use the most primitive methods to produce ceramics and pottery tools.
With more and more foreign friends coming, in 2000, "Sanbao international ceramic village" was officially opened to the outside world, and soon became a world-famous "ceramic" source.
