Dongchong, located in Shenzhen, is an administrative village composed of six natural villages. It has not been developed on a large scale and has beautiful scenery along the coast. Dongchong village is the only village in Shenzhen that doesn't have access to the provincial highway. The villagers make a living by farming and fishing. There are less than 500 local villagers. Now they mainly develop tourism.

Basic introduction

Dongchong is located at the southernmost tip of Dapeng Peninsula in the southeast of Shenzhen. It has beautiful coastal scenery and has not been developed on a large scale, especially in Dongchong village, where there are large fish ponds. Some maps and road signs read "Dongyong village", which is an administrative village at the easternmost end of Shenzhen. Dongchong administrative village is composed of six natural villages, and the order from west to East is dashili, kapok tree, Shangwei, Dawei, Shagang and Chongjie. There are less than 500 local people in the village. Dongchong village is the only one in Shenzhen that doesn't have access to the provincial highway. The villagers live by farming and fishing.

Play tips

Dongchong's sea sand is very fine and pollution-free. It's very comfortable. Unfortunately, for sightseeing, it's not so special. On weekends, it's a good choice for friends to come here for vacation, swimming and even playing beach volleyball. Self driving route: (the whole journey is about 60 minutes) Dongchong beach is about 500 meters long, surrounded by mountains on three sides and islands on the other side. On the left side of the beach is the expansion training base of Shenzhen Development Bank, which is now developed as Youyin guest house. The waters under its jurisdiction are undeveloped areas, so it is not allowed to enter the swimming area. On the right is a relatively mature resort with mature supporting safety measures. You can go to the beach or take a yacht to sea. The price of going to the beach is 10 yuan per time, and the price of going out to sea varies according to the route, about more than 100 yuan.

Shenzhen - Nan'ao coastal express E11 opened! Take E11 at Yinhu station directly to Nan'ao; from Longgang you can take 818 or 833 (via Pingshan and Kwai Chung) to Nan'ao. In addition, you can take bus No. 364 from Futian transportation hub (Futian bus station) to Dapeng and transfer to Nan'ao Dongchong. You can also do 360 to Nan'ao town

Nan'ao-dongchong m231 bus (dapeng-nan'ao-dongchong, Xichong) runs every hour. The first bus runs at 06:45, and the last bus runs at 17:45. The bus takes place at Nan'ao power supply station.

Self driving route: drive eastward from (Beihuan Avenue Nigang road Buxin Road) or (Binhai Avenue Binhe Road Binhe Chunfeng viaduct), connect Yanhe Road via Luofang interchange to Luosha highway to Liantang direction, connect East Coastal Expressway on Luosha Road on the right, connect Yanba Expressway at Dameisha pick-up card, and get off at Kwai Chung (Chong) exit of Yanba expressway, with T-shaped traffic light after charging 10 yuan Turn left at the intersection, go straight to Dapeng and Nan'ao, pass Leigongshan tunnel and Diefushan tunnel, pass Dapeng, and then go straight to Nan'ao. Walk along the mountain road from Nan'ao to Dongchong Xichong for about 10 kilometers to Dongchong. Pay attention to the road signs on the mountain road, turn left at the intersection, go to Dongchong direction, reach Dongchong village, cross a bridge and go to the beach. You can find the beach parking lot.

Recommended tour routes to Dongchong

1. Play kayaking, there is Dongyong River into the sea in the west, shallow suitable for kayaking practice.

2. When crossing the coastline, from haichai corner or rushing to the west, we usually cross the line.

3. Diving or sea fishing. Sanmen island is opposite to Dongchong beach. The largest island near Shenzhen, with fresh water and residents, is a popular outdoor Island route. The water quality of the nearby sea area is good. You can see the beautiful corals.

4. Enjoy the mangrove wetland lake, or go boating on the lake, cast nets, and startle flying herons; or walk slowly along the lake, catch all kinds of flying birds and the scenery of the lake; or look for a wooden house by the lake, listen to rock and roll and cook.

Dongchong food recommendation

There are three kinds of food in Dongchong: seafood, barbecue and roast chicken.

Seafood, local specialty sea urchin, fresh. Wetland lake, there are sea urchin seafood farms, reefs have a woman wearing a black cap edge pull sea urchin. Some fishermen often catch fish. There are several seafood restaurants, the best one is the one by the lake. You can have a good view and have a good environment for sea urchin fried rice and white prawns.
