architectural composition
Cizhou kiln Museum covers an area of 7.8 mu, with a total construction area of 5000 square meters. The museum is designed by Hebei architectural design and Research Institute. The design combines the characteristics of Cizhou kiln. In terms of architectural form, it takes "kiln" as the center and "arc" as the exhibition line. It is divided into two floors, with four large exhibition halls, cultural relics storehouse, academic lecture hall, cultural relics restoration room and pottery bar.
As of August 2019, the exhibition line of Cizhou kiln Museum has a total length of 480 meters, with 400 cultural relics, 278 pictures and 186 other auxiliary exhibits on display. The exhibition of the museum consists of five parts: the first part: preface hall -- the art of black and white; the second part: the beginning of kiln fire -- the Northern Dynasties, Sui and Tang Dynasties; the third part: the transformation of black and white -- the song, Jin and Yuan Dynasties; the fourth part: the lingering charm -- the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Republic of China; the fifth part: the origin of beauty -- firing technology.
Preface hall -- the art of black and white
The shape of the preface hall is the typical steamed bread kiln of Cizhou kiln, which is located in the center of the museum. The circular interior wall of the preface hall is decorated with fired wall bricks and saggers, highlighting the "kiln" atmosphere. On the wall in the middle of the building is a large-scale painting of "Guantai kiln site", with Mantou kiln, Zhanghe, Huangtu and the title of "black and white art". In front of the photo are black and white two connected rectangular stones, each engraved with a Chinese and English preface. The top decoration consists of two levels of white ground black flower dragon basin "dragon pattern" and Dragon Phoenix pot "sunflower pattern". The outer edge is radial aluminum alloy grille ceiling, implying that the soil of Cizhou is transformed into "black and white art" through the magic of Cizhou kiln. The light box belt hanging on the east wall and the TV combination on the west wall together with the front decoration constitute the second level of the preface hall. The east wall light box belt shows the Cizhou kiln collection of international and domestic museums. The introduction of Cizhou kiln museum is shown by the TV combination in Xibi. The whole hall uses dark pottery brick floor.
The first exhibition hall: kiln fire incipient combustion
The exhibition hall exhibits Cizhou kiln products from the Northern Dynasties to the Sui Dynasty. Most of the exhibits are northern folk kilns mainly producing white porcelain, black porcelain and celadon.
Exhibition hall 2 - Huajing black and white
The exhibition hall is the core exhibition hall of the whole exhibition, which gathers the Cizhou kiln cultural relics of various periods, especially the artifacts of the heyday of song, Jin and Yuan Dynasties. The exhibits in the exhibition hall include dragon shaped pots of Jin Dynasty, plum bottles of Jin Dynasty, dragon and Phoenix pots of Yuan Dynasty, etc. The exhibition hall also includes a porcelain pillow hall. This part shows more than 100 pieces of porcelain pillows in different periods of song, Jin and Yuan Dynasties.
Based on the traditional display of utensils, the exhibition hall deeply "digs" the connotation of porcelain in content design, and extracts 150 poems, 206 decorative patterns, 20 historical stories and 60 decorative techniques. The exhibition hall is equipped with four TV players to roll and play the above four contents respectively. At the same time, it turns from dynamic display to static display, that is, an electronic touch screen is set on the exhibition line to put the above four contents into the display for the audience to touch and search. Meanwhile, the exhibition hall is equipped with bookshelves to fix the books related to the above contents on the exhibition line.
The third exhibition hall
On the one hand, the exhibition hall shows the historical process that Cizhou kiln center of Ming Dynasty turned to Pengcheng kiln, and Pengcheng became the "northern porcelain capital". On the other hand, it combines field archaeology and museum display. The exhibition hall has a porcelain cabinet, a porcelain frame and a porcelain box that can be touched directly by hand. The large-scale ceramic tile walls show the stratum conditions of the four archaeological stages of Guantai kiln site, reflecting the stratum structure and stratum features of the kiln site. Connected with the porcelain cabinet, frame, box and porcelain wall is the simulated site scene. The area of the scene is 12 meters × 7.5 meters. The site is a frame glass plane with a height of 12 cm. Under the glass plate is the original site ground covered with porcelain and grass. The background of the site is 18 m × 3.2 M. in front of the background, there are structural drawings and archaeological site photos of different types of Cizhou kilns.
The fourth exhibition hall: the origin of beauty
Covering an area of 726 square meters, the exhibition hall shows the full scene production process of Cizhou kiln. With the ratio of 1:1, it shows the whole process of making porcelain by taking soil, refining mud, forming, construction, decoration and entering the kiln by means of material object, sculpture, model, background painting, projection, lighting, onomatopoeia, etc.
