Jinyazhuang Park

Jinyazhuang park is located near jinyazhuang site, with qingtaimen in the south, Shanghai Hangzhou railway in the East and East Ring Road in the West. In this area, there were the first private garden in Hangzhou, the first Waterworks in Hangzhou and the earliest railway station in Hangzhou, which concentrated the profound modern history and culture of Hangzhou.

Introduction to scenic spots

After the renovation, cultural sites and historical fragments were added to jinyazhuang Park, which was transformed from a simple leisure park into a park reflecting the modern history and culture of Hangzhou. There are trees and rockery pavilions everywhere. On the quiet side of the road, Magnolia grandiflora is in full bloom, with a faint fragrance of flowers. There are four new scenic spots in the park, which are distributed from south to north. Walking all the way is like walking in the history of Hangzhou. The southernmost is the "salt dan'er" sculpture group. In history, outside the gate of Qingtai was a busy gathering place for salt industry, with salt vendors shuttling and salt factories gathering. The popular folk saying "salt dan'er outside the gate of Qingtai" came from this. Tens of meters north, is the track of the track, a platform, and a map of the old fellow carved stone Hangzhou, which leads you to the history of the first railway in Hangzhou, the 1909 Shanghai Hangzhou railway. Further north is the jinyazhuang site. The history of jinyazhuang, the first private garden in Hangzhou, is inscribed on a tablet. Through the tablet, you can understand the past and present life of jinyazhuang. At the northernmost end of the park, there is an old-fashioned tap water, a stone tablet describing the development and change history of Hangzhou water plant, which is used to commemorate the completion of qingtaimen water plant, the first water plant in Hangzhou, in 1931, when Hangzhou people used tap water for the first time.
