Hangzhou Theater
Hangzhou theater, subordinate to the Department of culture of Zhejiang Province, is an institution directly under the culture of Zhejiang Province. It was built in 1978. It is a comprehensive art theater approved by Premier Zhou Enlai before his death. It is a classic work of Chinese theater architecture in the 1970s. In 2000, in order to welcome the 7th China Art Festival, it was reconstructed and expanded as a key construction project in Zhejiang Province, becoming one of the landmark large-scale public cultural facilities in Hangzhou and one of the best performing theaters in Zhejiang Province.
