Gao Peizhi's former residence is the former residence of Qin opera playwright and educator Gao Peizhi. It is located at 42 Xinglong lane, Beilin District, Xi'an city. It was listed as a cultural relic protection unit of Shaanxi Province in September 2003.

Brief introduction of ancient residence

Gaojiayuan is the former residence of Gao Peizhi, a famous dramatist and educator of Qin opera. It is located at No.42 Xinglong lane, Beilin District, Xi'an city. It was built in the middle of Qing Dynasty. After a hundred years of vicissitudes, it still retains the simple and traditional style of residential buildings. It is one of the most complete protected residential buildings in Xi'an city. It is a provincial and municipal cultural relic protection unit. More than ten films and TV plays have been shot here, such as《 They are: passionate life, Xi'an Incident, female prisoners, etc.

Life of the characters

Gao Peizhi (1881-1960), a native of Longxian County, Shaanxi Province, is a famous dramatist and educator of Qinqiang opera. He founded Xi'an Yisu society in 1912. He once served as the president of Yisu society four times and took the lead in handing it over to the state after liberation.
