Exhibitions and collections
Soldier baby
Bing Wa is Jia Pingwa's first collection of stories, which was first printed by China children's Publishing House in Beijing in June 1977. This is a collection of short stories reflecting the struggle between the two roads in the countryside. It has a strong flavor of life, simple and funny language, and vividly shows the new style of the rural youth at that time.
This is only a small part of Jia Pingwa's short stories. Literary works in the early 1970s were all about the struggle of "two lines". The struggle divided people into positive, negative and middle elements. The conflict between them must be the main line of the conflict in the works. The writer who skillfully uses this writing technique to reach the peak should be Haoran. As a new writer, Jia Pingwa inevitably follows this way of thinking.
These novels are not mature works, but more like exercises, like the works of asking for the way to literature. In postscript, Jia Pingwa wrote: "I continue to write this song of praise to the new generation! Praise to the Cultural Revolution! It's also my praise to open school! Here, I've selected a few of them. They'll be regarded as a graduation examination paper I handed in to the workers, peasants and soldiers. "
However, in this paper, Jia Pingwa still showed his own characteristics and talent. For example, the relaxation of the control of contradictions, such as the vividness and simplicity of language, and the calm grasp of rural life. That's his foundation. Talent, talent, these things, are overflowing from the beginning.
Qin Opera
Jia Pingwa's novel Qin opera, which has nearly 500000 words, takes the life of Dihua Street, Shangzhou District, Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province as the material, and describes the people's living situation and psychological state of mind in Qingfeng street in Rural Shaanxi Province with prose style. The high pitched and deep, stirring and sad Qin opera runs through all the time. The scattered perspective like the river during the Qingming Festival shows the living state of contemporary rural China, expresses the writer's local feelings and deep sense of hardship, and also shows the writer's new exploration and efforts in artistic creation.
The novel draws lessons from magic realism, and narrates the story from the perspective of crazy and silly bachelor Zhang Yinsheng -- he can see the flame on his head, which is big when he is in good health; he can turn into a spider to listen to the meeting of Qingfeng street; he can turn into a mantis to climb on the shoulder of his secret love snow white; he is struck by lightning but survives; he is swept up by tornado but is safe …… Through this perspective, the novel vividly shows the living conditions and psychological mentality of all kinds of people in Qingfeng Street: the intrigue of township grass-roots political power; the corruption of township cadres; the official running, important officials, offering and accepting bribes; the desolation of the fields after the labor force left the countryside; the forced collection of rural land by building national roads; the heavy burden of forced apportionment and tax collection of township government; the social and cultural degeneration of township Gambling is popular; township cadres bully the people by relying on power As the author wrote in the postscript, "after the limited land has exerted its potential to the utmost, the grain output will not increase any more, while the chemical fertilizers, pesticides, seeds and various taxes and fees will rise rapidly, and the rural areas have become the flood discharge places for all social pressures. The system has slackened its governance. The old things are scattered, like the water poured out. New things are not coming, and they can't be grasped when they come. ". The author's observation, analysis and thinking about the contemporary Chinese countryside are vividly reflected in his vivid description of the life of the villagers in Qingfeng street.
Jia Pingwa said: "Qin opera is about a lot of scattered days.". The novel, contrary to the traditional novel, uses dramatic twists and turns of plot to win. Instead, it adopts the prose structure of people's affairs. In the trivial description of township life, such as birth, death, marriage, eating, drinking, Lhasa, it shows the survival and living status of the villagers in Qingfeng street, shows the impact of the urbanization process of Chinese society on the traditional civilization of township society, and also reflects the reality He painted many personages with personality. There are two lines in Qin opera, one is Qin opera, the other is opera
