Fushan Temple
Fushan temple, also known as Fushan temple, is located in longxia'ao, Yingchuan Town, Jingning County, Zhejiang Province. It was rebuilt in the Jiajing period of the Qing Dynasty because of its long history of construction and damage. It is a place for local religious activities in Jingning. The temple faces north and south, with two entrances, East and West chambers. The temple has an octagonal pavilion and a stage, covering an area of 1560 square meters. The first entrance is 30 meters wide, 17 meters deep, and 2.7 meters high; the second entrance is 34 meters wide, 18 meters deep, with its wings and corners tilted, the top of the hill resting, and the stage decorated with caisson. Horse legs and Tiao Liang are carved with figures, flowers, birds and animals. The carving is delicate and realistic, showing the style of Jiangnan sculpture in late Qing Dynasty, which has high artistic value. There are houses on the left side of the temple and gardens on the other three sides. Every new year's festival, pilgrims flourish and receive 35000 tourists annually.
The temple worships such deities as emperor Wuxian, Ma Tianxian, third lady and Guanyin Bodhisattva.
