Lianyuan Canyon is located at the 11th ferry of Shidu scenic spot in Fangshan District, adjacent to Xianlong island. There are more than 30 natural landscapes in the canyon, such as natural waterfall, stone monkey watching the moon, immortal cave, Tongzi mountain, Shanshen cave, yerenju, Baima peak, Changshou spring, etc., and there are bamboo rafts, fishing, swimming, bonfire, accommodation and other services. It is a newly developed scenic spot. Because there is a lotus edge peak in the canyon. The gorge is characterized by waterfalls and strange rocks. Many people come all the way to Lianyuan gorge and are determined to have a look and find the fun of nature in the deep gorge.

The dragon like Juma River leaves a golden beach at the entrance of Lianyuan canyon. The clear water flowed from one side of the beach, making clear ripples on the edge of the beach. The backer is a pool of clear water. The mountain is high and the water can hold it. Mountain again majestic, a shadow in the water, partial mother-in-law up. People barefooted, walking on the sand, playing by the river. In laughter, as the surging river goes away, all troubles, all worries and all desires will go away. Mountains and water, water and people, people and sand are organically integrated. Everyone will feel that they are a member of nature.

Along the willow path, you can see the wonders along the way. The first thing I saw was "Lianyuan Canyon waterfall". A silver ribbon suddenly came down from the top of the cliff. From a distance, it looked like a waterfall in a landscape painting, with only a thick white line. When the waterfall jumped into the pool, it splashed a pile of pearly snow.

Not far above the waterfall, a huge stone is amazing. The stone is about 7 meters high, 6 meters long and 2 meters behind. The surface of the boulder is covered with pits of different sizes. The larger pit is about 1 meter long and half meter wide. There is a biological structure on it. After scientific demonstration, this huge stone is called "Synechocystis fossil", also known as "stromatolite". The formation of this stone is about 1.3 billion years ago. His discovery not only increases people's sense of mystery about nature, but also has great significance for the development of Shidu tourism and scientific exploration and research.

Next to the fossil Synechocystis is a straight up and down cliff. There is a strange cypress like an ancient dragon on the cliff, which is rooted in the cliff, and there are often goshawks on the cypress trunk to have a long-term vision. There is a sweet spring in the south of cypress, which is called Changshou spring.

At the end of Lianyuan gorge is a beautiful mountain peak. Because there are a group of huge stones at the top of the peak, which form a lotus shape, Lianyuan peak becomes open, and the gorge is called Lianyuan gorge.

In the Shidu scenic spot, there is a love story: in the late Sui and early Tang Dynasties, the people were living a miserable life. This year, the Juma River was flooded again, and the villagers fled from the wasteland one after another. There is a couple, on the way to escape from famine, met a group of strongmen hijacked, so separated. The man's name is Yuanfeng, and the woman's name is Xiaolian. Yuanfeng was eager to look for Xiaolian everywhere. After half a year, he still couldn't find her. He had no choice but to join the army. Because of his good martial arts, he was highly valued by Li Shimin and was promoted to general. Although Yuanfeng was a high official, he did not forget his wife. After returning home on holiday, I went to the place where I met with Xiaolian to recall the past. Suddenly, he seemed to hear Xiaolian's voice. He fixed his eyes and saw that his wife Xiaolian was standing in front of him. She had been separated for many years. Today, we can see that they are both sad and happy. They have a heart of complaint and endless words. Edge peak tears, Xiaolian also rushed to his arms. When the entourage called for Yuanfeng's position, he awoke from his passion. It turned out that he missed his wife too much and had an illusion.

After Jin Dynasty, he died in 1980. Later generations named the place where they met "lianyuanfeng" in memory of Yuanfeng and Xiaolian. Today's "Lianyuan peak" is in the valley of shiyidu.
