Historical evolution
Shijin garden Hutong belongs to renshoufang in Ming Dynasty. It is called Hongmiao street in the West and Shijing garden in the East. According to the records of the scenery of the imperial capital, the pavilions and pavilions in the garden are tall, willows and old pines, straight and strong. In addition, there are three or four mu of pond and a pagoda tree behind it. It is four or five hundred years old. It is larger than half a room and has a steep top. The garden is called Shijing garden. It is a famous private garden in Beijing. This garden is on the north side of the east end of today's Hutong, and its earliest owner is Zhu Neng. He was granted the title of Duke of Cheng for his contribution to Zhu Di, the emperor of Ming Dynasty. He was inherited from the past generations. In the reign of Chongzhen, his descendant Zhu Chunchen was also in charge of the capital camp. Li Dongyang, Yuan Hongdao and others were invited to visit shijingyuan and wrote poems to praise them. Li Dongyang once wrote a poem praising the ancient locust trees in the garden, saying: "the Wang family in Dongping is full of trees, among which old locust trees are more cold than green. When you pull out the ground, you can wear ten feet of cloud, but when it's empty, you can shade the triple room. " The Qing Dynasty belonged to Zhengbai banner, which was called Shijing garden in Qianlong period and Shijin garden in Xuantong period. It was abandoned in the late Qing Dynasty. According to the records of the vicissitudes of the old capital, Shijing garden is the Mingcheng Guogong garden, which was abandoned for a long time, and its lane is still called Shijing garden. After the Republic of China. Wu Peifu, a northern warlord, lived in the former site of shijingyuan. In 1965, it was renamed Shijin garden Hutong.
Characteristics of Hutong
Fu Liang, the Minister of rites of the Qing Dynasty, once lived in No. 21 courtyard in this alley. Now No. 43 courtyard in this alley is the former site of the old pharmacy of Hongren hall in the Republic of China. No. 19 courtyard in today's Hutong is a district level cultural relic protection unit. This courtyard was built in the late Qing Dynasty and was once Dai Li's house.
