Cultural relic value
The building has the characteristics of Southern Fujian. The Chiwang palace is on the old street of maxiang. Ma Xiang old street is a very narrow lane, but also a busy street, both sides of the dense shops, people come and go, it is very busy. As soon as the reporter was walking, he suddenly found that Yuanwei hall was on our right hand side. It was like a shop in the old street, side by side with other shops. The exterior architecture and interior decoration of Chiwang Palace are very characteristic of Southern Fujian. The light in the temple is very dark. There is a black faced god worshipped in the temple. This is probably the Lord Chi who took the pestilence medicine and turned black according to historical records
