Brilliance BMW Tiexi factory

BMW Brilliance Tiexi factory is BMW Group's 25th factory in the world, which is located in Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Liaoning Province. From the start of construction in June 2010 to the start of trial production in October 2011, brilliance BMW only took 16 months. China's speed, Germany's quality and project schedule created a miracle of BMW factory construction. Tiexi plant adopts the way of unified planning and phased construction to operate. The design annual capacity of the first phase project is 100000 units, and the medium-term annual capacity is 200000 units.

BMW Brilliance Tiexi factory is one of the advanced and sustainable automobile factories in China. This automobile factory, covering an area of more than 2 square kilometers, has four complete processes of modern automobile manufacturing. At present, the Tiexi factory of BMW Brilliance produces BMW 3 Series (including standard wheelbase and long wheelbase), BMW 2 series station wagon, BMW 1 series sports sedan, brand new BMW X1, brand new BMW X1 oil electric hybrid, and its own brand zhinuo.

In February 2017, according to the evaluation organized by Liaoning provincial tourist attraction quality rating committee, BMW Brilliance Tiexi factory was officially approved as a national AAAA tourist attraction, becoming the first and only automobile manufacturer in the domestic automobile industry to be awarded this honor, and a model of industrial tourism projects.

Environmental protection concept

In order to achieve sustainable development, the design of Tiexi plant is very environmental friendly, and more than 60 kinds of energy saving and emission reduction measures have been adopted. The plant, together with BMW's Spartanburg plant in the United States and Leipzig plant in Germany, is the most sustainable plant of BMW Group. The concept of environmental protection has also been implemented in all aspects of Tiexi factory

--The 2km long "energy tunnel" was first completed in the early stage of the plant construction. The power, water supply, heat supply and ventilation pipelines are all concentrated in this tunnel. The future plant expansion can save a lot of manpower, material and financial resources by eliminating the excavation and laying of pipelines.

--The main workshop adopts a single roof building structure, and the walls are made of heat insulation materials which are easy to disassemble and assemble, which can not only adjust the indoor temperature, but also facilitate future expansion.

--The plant adopts natural ventilation and uses underground water to regulate temperature, which can save a lot of electricity.

--Lighting adopts roof natural lighting and lighting equipment that can intelligently adjust lighting intensity.

--Skywalk is designed to completely separate the flow of people and logistics.

--Professional wastewater treatment system can greatly reduce the environmental pollution caused by industrial wastewater. In addition, there are special waste recycling facilities in the plant.

The main building of Tiexi factory adopts the mobile design. Entering the main office building, the public can see the colorful car body. Starting from the painting workshop, through the transmission system, they enter the general assembly workshop through the second floor of the main office building. The whole transmission process is "noise free" and "pollution-free". The public can feel the vitality of this modern chemical plant. The open design of the main building is also equipped with a unique comprehensive functional area, cultural exhibition area and other areas, creating a spacious, comfortable and humanized working environment for employees.

In order to provide a comfortable and pleasant working and visiting environment for employees working in the factory and the visiting public, the factory is equipped with restaurants, medical centers, fitness centers, cafes, art exhibition areas and other places, fully demonstrating the brand concept of BMW as a human text.

At the same time, the digital visit mode independently developed by BMW Brilliance's IT department provides the public with a more convenient and unique visit experience.
