background
There are four parks with the word "Gu" in Shanghai: Guyi garden in Jiading, Guzhong garden in Nanhui, Guhua garden in Fengxian, and Guteng garden in Minhang. The four gardens all have the word "Gu", but Guyi garden was founded in Ming Dynasty. The other three gardens are the products of reform and opening up. Minhang's Rattan Garden is the youngest. It was built in 1999, only nine years ago. I went to see it at the beginning of the park. After nine years, I don't know how it has changed. I'd better go back to my hometown! It used to be a ticket. It was five yuan when it was opened. Later, I don't know how. Nowadays, the parks in Minhang District are free of charge, and the ancient Rattan Garden is no exception.
The ancient Rattan Garden is located on the Shagang of the ancient coast before the land formation of Shanghai. The original site used to be a rural market town, commonly known as "Wisteria shed". Now it is beside Lincang road in Minhang, near Minhang Economic and Technological Development Zone. Although the ancient Rattan Garden has a short history, a Wisteria tree in the garden has a history of more than 470 years. It is the most famous Wisteria tree in Shanghai. It was planted by Dong Yiyang, a local sage and poet in the Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty. Wisteria is 3.7 meters high, 1.5 meters in circumference, covering 24 meters from east to west and 14 meters from north to south. Now the twigs and roots are still full of life. When it blooms, the fragrance is lush, green and purple, covering half the street, and the distant view is as magnificent as the purple haze in the sky. Although it is not the time for flowers to bloom, we can still have a glimpse of Wisteria.
In order to protect the oldest wisteria in Shanghai and develop tourism and cultural resources, Minhang District People's government and Shanghai Municipal Bureau of landscape architecture allocated funds for the construction of "ancient Rattan Garden", which was opened to the public in December 1999.
In addition, the ancient Rattan Garden also brings together the ancient civilization and historic sites scattered in the area, such as the eight edged stone well hurdle of Song Dynasty, the ancient foundation of Panlong, the carved flagpole stone of Ming Dynasty, the stone archways of single gate and three gates of Qing Dynasty, and the granite flat slab bridge of Republic of China. Especially, the Jiexiao square built in the 12th year of Qianlong of Qing Dynasty was hidden in the walls of folk houses. It was only when the old street was moved that the sun could be seen In the garden, it is the only complete restored stone archway with three gates, four pillars and five roofs in Shanghai. Those who like to enjoy the ancient memorial archway don't have to go to Shexian County, Anhui Province, but go straight to Minhang ancient Rattan Garden.
characteristic
In the garden, the ancient Wisteria is the main plant, with a variety of famous flowers and trees, forming a pleasant scenery like spring all the year round. There are rockery and pond in the park. Around the pond, there are pavilions, bridges, corridors, pavilions, pavilions and other antique buildings, which outline a beautiful garden in the south of the Yangtze River. It is adjacent to the North Shagang River, with a hydrophilic platform and footpath; in the northwest corner, there are half pavilions, landscape walls and veranda, each with its own landscape. Yiyang's ancient rattan is as curly and shady as a canopy, and Wisteria flowers bloom in April every year, which fully shows the unique style of ancient garden architecture and superb gardening art.
In addition, the park also brings into the park some cultural relics and historic sites, such as the stone well column with eight ridges in the Song Dynasty, the stone foundation with flat dragon, the carved flagpole stone in the Ming Dynasty, the Jicui square with two pillars and three roofs in the Qing Dynasty, the Jiexiao square with three gates, three gates, four pillars and five roofs, and the Pingban bridge in Chongde, which was built in 1915.
