Located in Yonghe town of Ji'an County on the West Bank of the middle reaches of Ganjiang River, 13 kilometers away from Ji'an County, jizhouyao scenic area is a key cultural relic protection unit in China and a comprehensive tourist attraction integrating culture, tourism, leisure, archaeology and scientific research.

Relying on the existing Jizhou kiln site resources, Jizhou kiln scenic spot is developed on the premise and basis of adhering to the principle of "protection first, utilization second" and adhering to the premise and basis of the protection of large sites, with the purpose of inheriting, protecting, developing and utilizing Luling culture, ceramic culture, religious culture and ancient town culture.
Scenery
The whole scenic area of Jizhou kiln covers an area of 2.8 square kilometers. It is composed of three major theme areas: business district (Dongchang Road, song Street), ceramic culture exhibition area (including Jizhou Kiln Museum, cultural square, performance stage, ancient villages, etc.) and Jizhou kiln Heritage Park (including pottery Garden, pottery workshop, Qingdu temple, shuwengxuan, huanxiuxuan, benjue temple tower, Longyao, etc.), which is a collection of culture and tourism , leisure, archaeology and scientific research.
history
Jizhou kiln, also known as Yonghe kiln and Dongchang kiln, is located in Yonghe Town, Ji'an County, on the West Bank of the middle reaches of Ganjiang River. It flourished in the Five Dynasties and Northern Song Dynasty, flourished in the Southern Song Dynasty, was founded and burned in the late Tang Dynasty, and declined in the late Yuan Dynasty. According to Jingdezhen pottery record, "Jiangxi kiln ware was in Hongzhou in the Tang Dynasty, and came out of Jizhou in the Song Dynasty"; Jizhou first, and then Raozhou (Jingdezhen) "has a history of more than 1200 years It is a world-famous comprehensive kiln in the south of the Yangtze River. It has a wide range of products and various styles. Black glazed porcelain and painted porcelain are the most famous. Among the black glazed porcelain, wooden leaf Tianmu, paper-cut and decal, kiln glaze pattern and other products are famous all over the world. They are listed as national cultural relics collection by Japan, South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom and Southeast Asian countries. The existing Jizhou kiln site is one of the largest and best preserved ancient kiln sites in the world, with a distribution area of 2.8 square kilometers. There are 24 abandoned kilns, with a total area of 80000 square meters and 726000 cubic meters. In 2001, it was listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit.
