Pingluanshan Park

Pingluanshan park is the largest urban park in Bao'an District of Shenzhen. It is located more than 300 meters north of the intersection of Qianjin 2nd Road and Baotian 3rd road in Bao'an District, near Taoyuanju in the South and Tiegang reservoir in the southwest. You can see Shenzhen Bay, Shenzhen airport, Pearl River Estuary, Dachan port, Shekou area, Bao'an city and Tiegang reservoir.

Pingluanshan Park

The park is built on the mountain between Taoyuanju and Tiegang community in Xixiang street, that is, between Qianjin 2nd Road and Guangshen expressway. The main entrance is at the intersection of Qianjin 2nd Road and Baotian 3rd Road (near Taoyuanju). The total area of the park is 219 hectares, the perimeter of the boundary is 8439 meters, equivalent to the size of three Bao'an parks, and the peak is 238 meters. The park is close to Tiegang reservoir with beautiful scenery and strong observability. It is a rare ecological forest in the central area of the city. It is a comprehensive park with the characteristics of "healthy forest" and mobile scenery. There are many climbing paths on the mountain. The citizens can fully enjoy the freshness of forest bath and the pleasure of mountaineering fitness. The main project of the park was completed and opened to the public in October 2009. The total investment of the park is 146 million yuan. Admission is free and open during the day. Admission is not allowed after 21:00.

Distribution of scenic spots

The park is divided into 14 scenic spots and 5 major scenic spots. In addition to the main entrance (the junction of Baotian third road and Qianjin Second Road), there are chentian community entrance, Taoyuanju entrance, fenghuanggang entrance and Tiegang entrance. The five major scenic spots are: main entrance Xixiang Chenyun scenic spot, Tianjing Yaotai scenic spot, Taoyuan nongying scenic spot, pingluan Jiexiu scenic spot and Lilin Shenyou scenic spot. To the east of the park is Tiegang reservoir, the largest reservoir in Shenzhen. Beside the reservoir is a green and winding forest belt. Standing on the top of the mountain, the whole reservoir has a panoramic view. The water surface is as calm as a mirror, and the blue bay is continuous, just like the Thousand Island Lake in the middle of a "blue water painting". In contrast to the view of the sea on the west side of tiezishan Park, pingluan is beautiful, with one inside and one outside, one light and one salty. 372 species of plants belonging to 270 genera and 113 families were found in pingluan mountain. There are rich plant resources, including 254 kinds of medicinal plants, 141 kinds of ornamental plants, 65 kinds of timber species, 43 kinds of fiber plants, 26 kinds of oil plants, 29 kinds of aromatic plants, 36 kinds of feed plants, 43 kinds of fruit plants, 28 kinds of tanning plants, 20 kinds of wild vegetables, 9 kinds of health drink plants, 10 kinds of starch plants, 7 kinds of dye plants and 5 kinds of honey plants. After pingluan mountain was built into a park, a large number of plants, such as Cinnamomum camphora and Osmanthus fragrans, were planted on the mountain. The park embodies the distinctive characteristics of "sports and health", which organically combines fitness, physical fitness, self-cultivation and leisure. Fitness is the point, physical fitness is the line, and self-cultivation is the surface. In fact, the mountains are not smooth. On the side of the mountain, there is an asphalt road which can be used as a sprinkling vehicle. It is winding and undulating, and it is difficult to ride a bicycle. The asphalt road surrounds the whole park and is suitable for running. The climbing stone steps meander in the forest oxygen bar, suitable for hiking and jogging.

The park will be open to the public on October 1st, 2009, on the occasion of the 60th birthday of the motherland.
