Xu's ancestral hall is located in Xuyang village, Daqi street, Beilun District, Ningbo City. It was approved and announced as a district level cultural relics protection site by the office of the District Cultural Relics Protection Committee in 2002. Xu's ancestral hall was built in 1886. There are two entrance halls, two main halls, three corridors and three wing rooms on the left and right, and a patio in the middle. Hall and hall are hard mountain type, mixed structure of beam lifting and bucket, five bay. The five remaining houses on the west side of the ancestral hall were rebuilt in the autumn of 2000.
The scale and layout of the ancestral hall, as well as the internal structure of columns, beams and brackets, are basically the same as that of Leshi ancestral hall, which is a district level cultural relic protection unit. Therefore, it has high historical, artistic and scientific value.
Xu's ancestral hall in Jiande City
It is located in Wushi village, shouchang Town, Jiande City. It is called fangbodi. It is the ancestral hall of Xu family. It was built by Xu Sheng, a Jinshi in the 21st year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty. It was repaired in the Republic of China. The ancestral hall faces south and covers an area of 205.5 square meters. It is a traditional two-story brick and wood mixed structure building with a hard hill and double slope top.
