Wu's ancestral hall
Wu's ancestral hall, located in Yimen village, Xidian Town, was announced as a county-level cultural relics protection unit in 2003.
brief introduction
The ancestral hall was built in 1777. It was built in 1837. Yimen, Academy and panchi Panchiao bridge were expanded in the late Qing Dynasty. The plane layout includes Yimen, qiantianjing (panchi Panchiao bridge) along the central axis, front hall, stage, houtianjing and main hall. There are study rooms on both sides of qiantianjing and wing rooms on both sides of houtianjing. The construction scale and regulation are only seen in the county. The woodcut technology is fine and well preserved.
Construction scale
Wu's ancestral hall is 59.6 meters long, 24.47 meters wide and covers an area of 1458.4 square meters along the central axis from east to West: the gate tower, the front courtyard (including panchi), the front hall, the stage, the back courtyard and the main hall.
Architectural features
The wood carvings are exquisite and large, which have certain artistic value. The layout and structure of the whole ancestral hall have certain characteristics, and the building scale and regulation are only seen in the county.
The ancestral hall is related to the historical events of Wu's ancestors, and the protection of the ancestral hall is helpful to the preservation and spread of the historical relics.
