It has become a symbol of the Dai family. Baima square was originally built in 1985. After the Gengma earthquake in 1988, the government built an earthquake resistant monument here in 1991. Baima square, newly built in 2005, has a total area of 26.25 Mu and a total investment of 11 million yuan.

The pictures show the Wa People's bronze drum dance, plagiarized ox dance, Dai People's elephant foot drum dance, etc., and the festival celebration scenes with local ethnic characteristics. On the cornerstone, a powerful white horse soars into the sky, which not only shows the beautiful legend that the white horse seeks the holy land of Gengma, but also symbolizes the spirit of the people of all nationalities in Gengma. Baima square is a place where the people of Gengma celebrate the festival and hold important celebrations. It is also an important symbol of Gengma county. Baima square is an ecological garden, and also a place for leisure and sightseeing.
Gengma earthquake relief monument is 22 meters high. The upper layer is a square white tower with a height of 13 meters. The front of the monument is engraved with "Gengma earthquake relief monument" written by Li Peng, sometimes the premier of the State Council. The whole monument imitates the shape of Dai bamboo buildings. It is dignified and generous. It has both the simple and elegant Dai style and the solemn and elegant modern art. It is a shining symbol of the new Gengma rebuilt after the earthquake. Behind the monument is a gourd shaped clear spring pool with mountains and forests made of many stones. Big banyan and phoenix trees set off the pool. The water in the pool is clear. There is a small stone arch bridge on the pool. When you step into the bridge, you can clearly see the meeting hall of the former Tusi Yamen.
The original chieftain yamen of Gengma is a palace style building, covering an area of more than 20 mu. From east to west, it has a symmetrical arrangement of Zhaobi, menting, Siheyuan palace and so on. Yinggengma street is a large screen wall with a cornice on one side of Sanlian street. From the left and right doors, it is a brick step, with a horse Pavilion, leading to the second screen wall. In the middle of the two walls is the Zhengyang gate, with crouching lions on both sides and side doors on the left and right. According to certain etiquette and level, people can get in and out. There are aisles on the front, flower stands on both sides, and a sign of "hereditary Gengma xuanfusi" hanging high in the building. Through the road to the inside for the chieftain courtyard, the front for stone high, red brick and green tile, cornice hold column, carved dragon painted hall, for the chieftain meeting hall. On both sides and behind the hall, there are five courtyard tile houses, which are the residence of chieftain officials. These buildings or carved beams and painted buildings, cornices and brackets, or painted landscapes and streamers. There are couplets in the hall, such as "the literary and martial arts achievements are brilliant, the virtue of virtue is rich, the thought of Jiumeng is rich, the lofty buildings and the lofty pavilions are majestic, and the six divisions of guanghuayao are outstanding for thousands of years", which reflect the wealth and the magnificence of Gengma. In 1948, the chieftain asked the designers of Shanghai Architectural Engineering to design and built a small western style building behind the assembly hall.
