Gaofeng mountain is located 20 kilometers north of Wenjing Town, Pengxi County, Sichuan Province. 547 meters above sea level, beautiful peaks, shaped like Qifeng, it is also known as "Gaofeng mountain". Once dominated by Taoism, with Confucianism and Buddhism culture, it is now an authentic Taoist activity place in Longmen. The seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

It was first built in the early Tang Dynasty, then built in the late Qing Dynasty, and expanded in the Republic of China. It is a treasure Temple revered by many elders of the national government, and a xuandu worshipped by 18 provinces in China. Lin Sen, chairman of the national government at that time, once wrote a plaque to praise it as "the happiest for good". Gaofeng mountain has the saying of "the first famous mountain in northern Sichuan" and "the first peak in Central Sichuan". Because of its unique eight trigrams labyrinth architecture, it is also known as "northern Sichuan labyrinth".

In February 2020, in order to pay tribute to the medical workers who are struggling in the front line of anti epidemic, the scenic spot will be free of charge to medical workers throughout the country from the date of resumption of operation to December 31, 2020.

Gaofeng mountain is located 25 kilometers north of Pengxi County, Suining County, Sichuan Province, with an altitude of 547 meters. It is said to be "the first famous mountain in northern Sichuan" and "the first peak in Central Sichuan". Because of its unique eight trigrams labyrinth architecture, it is also known as "northern Sichuan labyrinth"; because of the high fulfillment rate of all aspects, there is also the legend of the God of the peak; because of the beautiful natural scenery and the noise far away from the town, there is a plaque of "is a Penglai". Main attractions

To the West and east of Gaofeng mountain, there are three natural landscapes: verdant trees cover the whole mountain. There are more than 500 ancient cypresses on the whole mountain, which are growing towards the temple. Gaofeng mountain is like a green pagoda. There are eight mountain systems around the mountain, just like eight giant dragons. Looking back at the peak, the peak looks like a long dragon. The ancient temple of Tang Dynasty is the leader, just like Jiulong holding Taiji. This is the second. Gaofeng mountain has "four village gates" from East, West, North and south People in the same area have the widest and farthest view of sizhaimen, especially in the East and West. Now a viewing platform has been built to see the beauty of sunrise, sunset, sea of clouds and scenery, which is no less than that of the five mountains. It is now a provincial Taoist activity site in Sichuan Province, which was officially opened to the public in 1986. In 2002, it was an AA grade scenic spot. Since 2011, Gao Fengshan has made three films.

Labyrinth Taoist temple complex

The magic of Gaofeng mountain lies in the well preserved wooden eight trigrams Taoist temple complex, which is rare in China and known as "the first wonder in the world". The whole building is a pure wood structure, which is an integral whole. It is a maze fairyland. Careful examination shows that the eight trigrams building complex with wood structure, such as the four Gaofeng mountains, is almost the only religious building in the country, which can be called a spectacle. Statue of Laozi

In February 2005, the 36m Laozi stone statue designed by Chengdu Sculpture Design Institute and produced by Zhao Deyang, a famous folk stone carving artist, was completed. The statue is located at the northwest foot of Gaofeng mountain. It is the largest statue of Laozi at home and abroad. It is known as "Laozi No.1 in the world" and has become a landmark scenic spot of Taoist culture in Gaofeng mountain.
