Baifoshan, formerly known as Weishan, is located in the north of Jiaocun village, Dongping Town, Dongping County, Tai'an City, Shandong Province. Located in the west of Dongping County, the statue of baifoshan Grottoes has 134 statues, which are divided into Sui grottoes, Tang grottoes, Xiao Tang grottoes, song grottoes and open-air statues. Among them, the Sui grottoes were first excavated in the seventh year of kaihuang reign. The main statue of Amitabha Buddha in the Grottoes is 6.7 meters high, and it is built on a lotus seat. The thread bun is low and flat, the face is round, the hands are fearless and willing to print, and the double collar sagging cassock is worn. This statue of Amitabha is praised by experts as "the first Buddha of the Sui Dynasty in the Central Plains".
