Emperor's temple
Tianhuang temple, located in the southeast of Tianmiao village, Xiejia Town, Pengshan County, Sichuan Province, is about 8 kilometers away from Pengshan County, Meishan City in the West. Fawang temple was built in the middle of Ming Dynasty in 1771. It was rebuilt by Zhao monk.

In the 12th year of Jiaqing (1807), a screen wall was built outside the temple, decorated with immortals and animals. In 1845, the main hall was rebuilt again. From the period of the Republic of China to 1983, some houses were used as primary schools. In 1984, the people's Government of Pengshan County announced that it was a cultural relic protection unit at the county level. After the implementation of the religious policy in 1985, Fawang Temple became the first open temple in Pengshan County and resumed religious activities. In 1986, it was announced as a cultural relic protection unit of Leshan City, and in 2001, it was announced as a cultural relic protection unit of Meishan City. Today's temple covers an area of about 6944 square meters, with a construction area of 1353 square meters. It is a triple quadrangle group layout of wood structure. Sitting east to west, it has a front hall, a box hall, a main hall, a back hall and a monk's house. This is the antique wall outside the temple.
There is a double courtyard group layout, east to west, with front hall, box hall, main hall, back hall and monk's house, covering an area of 1353 square meters. The main hall is of wood structure with a single eaves and a Xieshan roof, covered with small green tiles, and the ridge ornaments have been destroyed. Inside, there are ten rafter houses of beam lifting type, with four columns in front and back. The width is 22.8 meters in five rooms, the depth is 18.5 meters in three rooms, and the height is 9.8 meters. The first two pillars are gold-plated with tin and green dragons. The flat beams and four rafters are supported by carved Arhats. The breast burden and tie-in are supported by false brackets. Flowers and drama figures are carved on them. The inverted piers under the eaves are carved in the shape of lotus. There are murals in the hall, which are now painted with lime. The plain base is 0.8m, and the level of Ruyi tread road is grade 4. Inside the main hall, there is a "three body Buddha". In the back hall, there are Manjusri, Puxian, Guanyin and twelve Jue.
