Baiyun temple
Baiyunsi National Forest Park is located in Huixian City, the southern foot of Taihang Mountain. It was approved by the Ministry of forestry and opened to the outside world in 1992. In 1999, it was approved as Taihang Mountain Macaque Nature Reserve by the State Council. The management area is 2591 hectares, and the forest coverage rate is 95%.

historical origin
Baiyun temple, the main scenic spot in the scenic spot, was built in the Tang Dynasty, formerly known as Baimao temple, also known as Mengjue temple. There are five large temples with single eaves. There are more than 50 other halls, such as the central hall, the mountain gate, the East-West hall and the attic. There are two stone pagodas of the Yuan Dynasty at the back of the temple, which are exquisitely carved. In the east of the temple, there are 500 arhat steles of the Song Dynasty, which are full and accurate. In the west of the temple, there are two springs, Jinsha and Yinsha. Beside the spring, there is a dizang hall, which has a unique architecture. Facing the stone cliff in the west, there is a cave named Heilong cave, which is profound and unpredictable. The ancient trees in front of the temple are towering, and there is no sunlight in midsummer. It is a summer resort. It is a provincial key cultural relic protection unit. Located in baiyun temple, the stone pagoda of Puzhao is a stone Lama Pagoda with five stories and a height of 4.9 meters. It is the Qianhua pagoda of master Puzhao. The whole stone pagoda is a rare stone carving art of Yuan Dynasty with fine carving and beautiful shape. It has high artistic value and is a key cultural relic protection unit at the provincial level. Ginkgo tree is located in front of the gate of baiyun temple, commonly known as Baiguoshu, also known as Gongsun tree. There are five trees in parallel, one behind the Buddha Hall in the temple, a total of six. For thousands of years, despite several wars and disasters, it still stands tall. On May 25, 2006, baiyun temple, as an ancient building from Ming Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, was approved by the State Council to be listed in the Sixth Batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
