Heiyoushan is located in the northeast of Karamay, more than two kilometers away from the city center. It is an important oil outcrop in the oilfield. Due to the long-term spillage of crude oil, a group of asphalt mounds are formed, and the oil quality is precious low pour point oil. Karamay is called "black oil" in Uyghur, so this natural oil pitch hill is named "black oil hill". This black asphalt mountain and the oil buried in it have been sleeping here for hundreds of millions of years. Due to the crustal movement, the rocks are fractured and broken, the underground oil is affected by the formation pressure, the rock fissures continuously seep out to the surface, the light part of the oil volatilizes, and the remaining thick liquid condenses with the sand to form this black oil mountain. Due to the desolate and harsh environment around, it has not been paid attention to for thousands of years. Before liberation, a Uyghur old man named sailimubayi for the first time rang the gate of Heiyoushan. He built a burrow beside the mountain, fished for crude oil in the oil gathering depression, rode a donkey between Wusu and Heiyoushan, exchanged black oil for daily necessities, and local people used the crude oil to light lamps, paste axles, etc. In order to carry forward the spirit of hard work and entrepreneurship, Xinjiang Petroleum Administration Bureau and Karamay City set up a nearly 3-meter-high stone carving Monument and a statue of Uygur old man riding a donkey playing the rewap in Heiyoushan on October 1, 1982. In 1983, the asphalt concrete road and parking lot from the Museum of mineral history to Heiyoushan were built, and the stone steps to the top of the mountain were also built. Heiyoushan has become a memorial and tourist attraction for people of all ethnic groups to carry out revolutionary traditional education. The appearance of Heiyoushan is a low hill. The whole hill is black and the surface is uneven. It is composed of sandstone contaminated by oil or gravel condensed by oil. Due to the overflow of volatile oil, the surface is dry in large area. There are also many oil springs on the hills, forming many small oil marshes, in the middle of which are continuously gushing oil bubbles. The oil is viscous and dark, and the oil is precious low pour point crude oil. At the top of the hill, there is a granite stele erected in 1982, which is cone-shaped and 2.5 meters high. On the front of the stele, there are three characters "Heiyoushan". Heiyoushan is located in the northeast of Karamay City. About 250 million years ago, it was a vast sea. As a result of the Himalayan orogeny, the ocean became Gobi. Later, from 180 million years ago, that is, the Jurassic and Cretaceous period, large oil-bearing strata were formed here, and then more than 30 asphalt hills of different sizes gradually appeared. The scenery around Heiyoushan is extraordinary. It looks at the ghost city in the East, the Manas River Oasis in the West and Genghis Khan mountain in the back. In 1983, it was in a 130000 square meter park at the southern foot of Heiyou mountain. There is Tuohu Lake in the park. There are two small islands in the lake, called Gudao and Zudao. There are three silicified pine trees which were formed 200 million years ago on foot island. There are small bridges, flowing water, waterside pavilions, pavilions, gardens and various recreational facilities. On Heiyou mountain, there is also a monument to No. 1 oil well. In the park, there is a statue of Uyghur old man riding a donkey who had been searching for oil here more than 50 years ago. The shape is very beautiful.

"Karamay" is called "Heiyou" in Uyghur, so this natural oil pitch hill is named Heiyoushan. This black asphalt mountain and the oil buried in it have been sleeping here for hundreds of millions of years. The light part of the oil volatilizes, and the remaining thick liquid condenses with the sand soil to form this black oil mountain. Heiyou mountain is a memorial and tourist attraction for people of all ethnic groups to carry out revolutionary traditional education. There is a park at the southern foot of Heiyou mountain, covering an area of 130000 square meters. It is dominated by Tuohu lake, with a water surface of 196000 square meters. There are two isolated islands and foot islands in the lake. There is a small pavilion on the island. Next to the pavilion stand three fossil pine trees more than 200 million years ago. They are rare treasures. The foot island is like a foot. There is a cross Hongqiao in the north of the island, a curved bridge in the East connecting with the lake bank, and a rockery more than 10 meters high on the North Bank of the cross Hongqiao. Heiyoushan is located two kilometers northeast of Karamay City. It is a group of asphalt mounds formed by oil spilling over years in the Triassic system of Karamay Oilfield. The largest one is 13 meters high and covers an area of 0.2 square kilometers. Heiyoushan oil is a precious low pour point oil. According to geologists' prediction, as early as 200 million years ago, Heiyoushan oil is a kind of low pour point oil, In the late Qing Dynasty, the area around Heiyoushan was called qingshixia,
