Fengchenghe College of education and Politics

At present, the restoration project of Taizhou academic and political examination institute, a site museum of imperial examination system in China, has been completed and officially opened to the public on August 1. This is the only well preserved Academy in the whole province. Its cultural relic value can be compared with that of Nanjing Gongyuan. It is a historical witness that Taizhou was once an important cultural center in Jianghuai region. Located at the intersection of Wuyi Road and Gulou road in Taizhou City, Xuezheng examination college was originally Fengyang military envoy's office in Ming Dynasty, and was rebuilt as a place for candidates of imperial examination in Qing Dynasty.
