Because of the shabby temple and the narrow size of the temple, it was difficult to promote Buddhism. So he put a wooden fish as big as a drum on the top of the ancient pagoda tree and sat on it day and night. The sound was loud and excited, which spread hundreds of miles away. Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, was restless. He ordered Chi Jingde, the general, to observe. Jingde followed the sound of the wooden fish and found Jianyi and shangduan sitting on the ancient pagoda tree in Longchi temple Jingde called out: "you are the monk there. The monk in the tree still closed his eyes and knocked the wooden fish, safe and sound. Taizong asked, "I don't know how many places the venerable needs." the venerable without bosom is like a leaf, falling down gently. To put it bluntly, "I only need one sleeve of land.".
