Weiji ancient village is located in Weiji Town, Huimin County, Shandong Province. It has beautiful environment and convenient transportation. Changshen expressway, Jidong expressway, Binde expressway, the main road of North Shandong, national highway 220, the Yellow River into the sea and the largest port in North Shandong all pass through here. There are rich historical and cultural resources around the ancient village, including more than 20 cultural relics, 8 tourist attractions, and Weishi manor, one of the three manors in China, in the southwest. Sun Tzu's art of war City, the first temple of Chinese military science, is located here. As an organic part of the tourism system of "one mountain, one water and two saints" in Shandong Province, you can feel Sun Wu's military wisdom inherited for thousands of years. The buildings in Weiji ancient village are antique and full of ancient charm. The pavilions and pavilions, the ancient wells and springs, the winding paths, the green bamboos, the ancient cypresses and the weeping willows, and the swaying posture. In the village, the rivers are intertwined, the ancient streets are well arranged, and the ancient wharf of the ancient town reproduces the historical style of Yong'an ancient town as an important post station of the Tang Dynasty. Weiji ancient village

Weiji ancient village is a scenic spot imitating the ancient architectural style of Ming and Qing Dynasties, located in tonghan Road, Weiji Town, Huimin County, Binzhou City, Shandong Province. The scenic spot is divided into three phases. The first phase is divided into five streets: Snack Street, handicraft workshop street, folk theme street, bar culture street and Yuanding street.

The scenic spot was put into operation on September 28, 2016.

The scenic spot integrates elements such as special food, handicraft workshops, folk customs, sightseeing and water sightseeing, home stay and so on. There are more than 200 snack shops, as well as more than 20 small scenic spots such as xiulou, theater, cultural center and playground, interspersed with yangko dance, dragon and lion dance, shadow play, acrobatics, storytelling, bonfire party and so on.

Development history

Weiji ancient village was put into operation on October 1, 2016, with a total investment of 500 million yuan, which was completed in three phases.

In 2016, Weiji ancient village only opened a quarter of its size, and in 2017, it will open quadrangle houses.

The national school and folk marriage experience hall under construction in the scenic area will be officially put into operation on May 1, 2017, when tourists will be able to experience more characteristic projects with folk customs. In addition, the construction of the second and third phases of the project is also on the agenda, mainly planning the intangible cultural heritage protection base in northern Shandong, the provincial cultural industry demonstration park, the agricultural picking garden, the agricultural culture experience land, and the green flower cultivation base.

Environmental layout

The ancient villages of Weiji adopt the ancient architectural style of Ming and Qing Dynasties, and integrate the water system landscape of the south of the Yangtze River. The scenic spot is divided into five streets: Snack Street, handicraft workshop street, folk theme street, bar culture street and Yuanding street.

Main attractions

Snack street

Tourists can enjoy the traditional handicrafts of folk snacks and taste authentic and delicious folk food. Here, tourists can not only enjoy the delicious food in Qilu, but also taste more than 300 kinds of snacks in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Haidai and Central Plains.

Handicraft workshop street

Handcraft workshop street shows the traditional production process of folk workshops in northern Shandong and even Qilu to tourists. All the flour, pickles, vinegar and tofu in the shops are produced by the old street workshops themselves.

Folk theme Street

Calligraphy, paper cutting and other traditional folk skills, intangible cultural heritage projects are displayed here. While appreciating the exquisite skills of folk artists, you can also choose one or two souvenirs with the characteristics of living alone.

Bar Culture Street

The bar street is built near the water, with the theme of wine and song.

Yuanding Street

Yuanding street is also called Yinyuan street. There are xiulou and wedding leisure bar in this street, which leads directly to Wangxian bridge and Tianxian bridge, the only twin bridges in the scenic area. It is a gathering place for young boys and girls.

The food street in Weiji ancient village is a collection of cuisines from all over Qilu, such as Guozi cake, horseshoe fire, Geda soup and grilled chicken, as well as more than 300 kinds of traditional snacks from Haidai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Central Plains.

Take a plane to Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport, take the airport bus to the bus station, transfer to Jinan Binzhou bus to Huji toll station of national highway 220, and then transfer to bus c916.
