Development history

Located in Jianhua District, Qiqihar Longsha zoobotanical garden is the largest zoobotanical garden in Northeast China. As one of the 18 major projects in Qiqihar City, it has a total investment of 550 million yuan, covers an area of about 705873 square meters, introduces more than 3000 kinds of animals, and plants 120 kinds of trees and shrubs. It is an animal theme park with northern characteristics and global 47 degree north latitude cultural characteristics.

The completion of Longsha zoological and botanical garden will greatly cater for people's return to nature. There are various rare animals from five continents and more than 120 precious plants at 47 degrees north latitude in Longsha zoological and botanical garden. There are more than 20 venues in the park, such as Dezhou farm, Africa, Australia Asia world, primate rainforest, Science Museum of fantasy ecology, North American prairie, performance field, etc. At present, there are some first-class national protected animals, such as golden monkey, golden takin, Red Crowned Crane, and some rare South American and African animals in northern China. So that the public can enjoy the natural scenery of 47 degrees north latitude of the world without leaving the city. With the continuous deepening of the project, it will build a unique multi-functional and comprehensive eco-tourism scenic area integrating wildlife viewing, leisure and vacation, water sightseeing, landscape real estate, tourism and entertainment. During the trial operation period, Longsha animal and Botanical Garden received more than 30000 tourists. Many children not only came into close contact with national protected animals, but also learned a lot of scientific knowledge related to animals and plants, which really enabled students to go out of the classroom to learn knowledge.

The foundation of Longsha animal and botanical garden was laid on May 11, 2013. With the great attention and care of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government, and with the strong support of various departments directly under the municipal government, it was completed and opened in only 400 days, which fully shows that Qiqihar has a good investment environment and high efficiency. In more than 400 days, the staff of Longsha zoology and botany garden, adhering to the principle of "re design, new concept, high speed and high standard", brought the animal and plant culture of 47 degrees north latitude back to their hometown. The completion of Longsha animal and botanical garden will greatly cater to people's psychology of returning to nature, loving wild animals and protecting the ecological environment. It fills the gap of tourism industry in Qiqihar and drives the development of tourism economy in Qiqihar and even in Northwest China. In the continuous deepening of the construction of Longsha animal and botanical garden, it will also gather all kinds of unique natural landscapes and cultural customs in the world at 47 degrees north latitude, including the customs of Denmark, the Netherlands, Canada and other countries, as well as the cultural and historical traditions of Northeast China and Qiqihar. The above ideas will be gradually implemented in the next few years, when Qiqihar city will have a gold lettered cultural tourism signboard created by modern Qiqihar people.

Main scenic spots

Dezhou farm

Texas farm is located at the right corner of the entrance of the park, with the main landscape exhibition of Texas animals in the United States and North America. They include American pony, guanaco, anseries and so on. Pony refers to a horse whose adult height is less than 106CM, which is called pony in English. Because of its small, intelligent, gentle temperament and deeply loved by people. It can be used for viewing, entertainment, experiment and labor. It is also a good "friend" for children and the elderly. Because the number is rare, it is particularly precious, can be said to be the treasure of the horse. Camel was once distributed in the West and south of South America. It is the most famous one of the four camel like animals in South America. It was domesticated more than 1000 years ago and is the only animal domesticated into a pack animal in the Western Hemisphere.

Wuhu acupoint

Wuhu acupoint is located in the north of the park, which is dominated by important tiger species in the world. Among them, snow tiger, Amur tiger, white tiger, black tiger and golden tiger are the main animals. At the same time, there is argali Pavilion in the north of Wuhu cave tourist area. Snow tiger is the result of further genetic variation of white tiger, the probability of occurrence is one in 100000. It belongs to Carnivora Felidae, Bengal tiger silver white variety, rare animal in the world. Amur tiger, also known as Siberian tiger and Amur tiger (Amur River is the Russian name of Heilongjiang), is the largest cat in existence. The male Amur tiger has a total length of 4 meters, a body length of 2.5-3 meters, a shoulder height of 0.96 meters, and an average weight of 189 kg. The body color is brown yellow in summer and light yellow in winter. There are many narrow black stripes on the back and side of the body, usually two close to each other, which are willow shaped.

Lion mountain

Lion mountain is located in the middle of the park, mainly with fierce predators. Among them, African lion, silver fox, Amur leopard, dhole and wolf are the main animals. Silver fox is also called Silver Black Fox, also known as xuanhu. Some of the hairs are white, while the roots and tips of other hairs are black, and the middle part of the hairs is silvery white. Native to the north of North America and eastern Siberia, it is a coat color mutant of red fox in the wild. Therefore, its body shape and appearance are the same as that of red fox, but there are great differences in the color of its hair. Silver fox has sharp mouth, round eyes, long ears, slender limbs and long fluffy tail. It is a common fox species. The jackal is reddish brown, also known as the red wolf. It is smaller than the wolf and larger than the red fox. It has two molars on each side of the mandible, with a body length of 95-105 cm and a tail length of 45-50 cm. Its tail hair is long and dense, brownish black, similar to the fox tail. Jackal is not only the strongest canine in existence, but also the most ferocious and flexible canine. Although its size is smaller than that of wolf, its combat effectiveness is higher than that of wolf.

Asia prairie

The Asia prairie is located in the northwest part of the park, which is mainly dominated by grassland animals in Asia. They include takin, red deer, sika deer, Milu, fall deer, camel, yak and Baldor pony. Among them, golden takin is the first class protected animal in China. Golden takin has a thick body with a shoulder height of 110-120 cm. The male can weigh up to 400 kg, and the largest one can reach a shoulder height of 2 meters and weigh up to 1 ton. Both sexes have short horns. It is a large cattle herbivore distributed in the dense forest area of the eastern foot of the Himalayas. Due to the different producing areas, the color of the hair gradually lightens from south to north. It can be divided into four subspecies: Gaoligong antelope, Bhutan antelope, Sichuan antelope and Qinling antelope, all of which are produced in China. It inhabits in the alpine area above 2500 meters and likes to live in groups. Each group has about 20-30 heads, up to 50 heads. He has a strong body and a fierce temperament. There are only a few thousand of them in China, which are the first-class protected animals in China. It is distributed in southwest and Northwest China, Nepal, Bhutan, India and Myanmar. Takin is the national beast of Bhutan, which is called "takin" in Bhutan.

Happy bird garden

Happy bird park is located in the southwest of the park, mainly birds.
