Binjiang Cultural Park is located in the New River Delta of Changsha, with Xiangjiang River in the west, Liuyang River in the north and Xiangjiang Avenue in the southeast. The park is distributed with "three halls and one hall" buildings (Changsha Museum, Changsha planning exhibition hall, Changsha library, Changsha Concert Hall), landscape tower and surrounding facilities. It covers a total area of about 186 mu, with a total construction area of about 155000 square meters, including 34200 square meters for museums, 31300 square meters for libraries, 27600 square meters for concert halls, 650 square meters for landscape towers and 61100 square meters for underground overhead floors,
The buildings of Binjiang Cultural Park symbolize the group style of Hunan people's bravery, progress and self-improvement, which is completely in line with the unique aesthetic concept of "flow view" of Chu people. "Upright, stubborn and brave, they shape" Hunan people's character "with strong sculpture."
The foundation of Binjiang Cultural Park was laid on August 21, 2006, officially started in December 2007, and fully opened to the outside world on December 28, 2015
