Yanziyan National Forest Park

·Yanziyan National Forest Park is located in the West Bank of Fengxi River, close to Chishui waterfall, is one of the national scenic spots.

·The park consists of South Park and North Park. Cyathela spinulosa, a rare plant left over from hundreds of millions of years ago, is growing luxuriantly here. Therefore, the South Garden is known as the "Kingdom of cyathela spinulosa" and the scenery is very beautiful.

·Beiyuan is known as "colorful paradise" because of the wonderful scenery composed of forest, flowing spring, waterfall, Danxia and birds. It's very worthwhile to see the swallow rock waterfall and "the source of life". When you wait and see from a distance, you have to sigh about the uncanny workmanship of nature.

·There are more than 1200 kinds of creatures here, all kinds of birds inhabit and sing here, and macaques often come and go here, bringing you wonderful virgin forest scenery.

Yanziyan National Forest Park

Yanziyan National Forest Park is located on the West Bank of Fengxi River in Chishui City, Guizhou Province, with a total area of 16000 hectares. It is composed of four scenic spots: yanziyan, huangshuigou, shishanping and Hengshan forest sea. With closed environment, primitive forest, complete ecosystem and steep terrain, the scenic spot has unique charm and grand momentum, integrating scientific research, tourism, sightseeing and leisure. It is a national AAAA scenic spot and one of the important scenic spots of Chishui national scenic spot.

Location context

Yanziyan National Forest Park is located in fengxihexiyan, the first tributary of Chishui River, 20 km away from the West Branch of Chishui City, Guizhou Province. It is close to Chishui Waterfall Scenic Area (also known as shizhangdong scenic area), and adjacent to Guiyang, Zunyi, Chengdu, Chongqing, Luzhou and other southwest central cities, with convenient transportation. The overall planning management area of the park is 10400 hectares, and the forest coverage rate is 95.3%.

Yanziyan National Forest Park is the epitome of Chishui City's "city of thousand waterfalls, hometown of bamboo, crown of Danxia, and kingdom of Alsophila spinulosa". In the park, there are rich and dense primitive and native vegetation, with more than 1200 species of biological species, including nearly 100 species under national and provincial key protection, mainly tropical green broad-leaved virgin forest, with dense Alsophila spinulosa groups, covering an area of nearly 1000 hectares. The stone walls and flowing water in the garden, the flowing water and the verdant vegetation form a wonderful picture, and the purple red Danxia stones all over the garden form a unique scene.

Animal resources

Swallow rock is a cliff about 80 meters high. The middle of the cliff is arched. Hundreds of swallows nest here.

Main attractions

The representative scenic spot of yanziyan is yanziyan waterfall. Yanziyan waterfall is not as wide as shizhangdong waterfall, but its height is incomparable. The narrow and long water flows down from the top of the cliff. The mountains, trees and water are very delicate. The yanziyan Forest Park of liantai waterfall has designated an area of only 5 square kilometers for tourism. The forest coverage rate in the park is more than 90%. Since then, a variety of woody plants, herbs, bryophytes, vines and bamboos have grown and flourished here.

Yanziyan Forest Park is composed of South Park and North Park. In the South Garden, the rare plant of hundreds of millions of years ago, the "living fossil" Alsophila spinulosa, is densely distributed here, lush, tall and strong, strange and clean; "husband and wife" Alsophila spinulosa, Trident Alsophila spinulosa, bifurcated Alsophila spinulosa, dinosaur like Alsophila spinulosa, twin sister Alsophila spinulosa, and other abnormal Alsophila spinulosa can be seen everywhere. Therefore, many experts and visitors regard Nanyuan as "the kingdom of Alsophila spinulosa".

In the North Garden, there are dense forests, fragrant grass, coriander, flowing water, and waterfalls. All kinds of birds live and sing here, and wild macaques often come and go here, forming a bustling three-dimensional ecosystem and wonderful primeval forest scenery. Rhinoceros play in the water pool waterfall, twin sisters waterfall, yanziyan waterfall, liantai waterfall, etc The steps are distributed in different shapes, which is pleasing to the eye. Yanziyan, Diaoyutai, macaque cave, "the source of life" rock and other Danxia landscape can be seen everywhere here, each with its own form and spirit, full of fun. Many experts and tourists regard the wonderful scenery of forest, flowing spring, waterfall, Danxia and birds as "five wonders", so they also call Beiyuan "colorful paradise".
