--Libo ancient town is located in Bashang vegetable garden, South Gate of Jianshe village, Yuping Town, Libo County, Guizhou Province. The land area is 1099 mu (725340 m3), the total construction area is about 1000000 m3, and the total investment is more than 3.2 billion yuan. It is completed in five phases and six years.

Introduction to ancient town

Libo ancient town is located in Bashang vegetable garden, South Gate of Jianshe village, Yuping Town, Libo County, Guizhou Province, with a land area of 1099 mu (725340 m2), a total construction area of about 1000000 m2 and a total investment of more than 3.2 billion yuan. The whole project is planned to be carried out in five phases with a construction period of six years. The project plans to build four ethnic tribes to display the four ethnic customs of Buyi, Shui, Miao and Yao in Libo County; the exhibition park of long history and culture in Libo County; the exhibition corridor of intangible cultural heritage in Guizhou Province; the permanent site of cultural tourism development innovation forum and the leisure tourism industry complex integrating tourism, sports, leisure and entertainment, commerce and supporting housing Libo County for the new tourism service core area.

Guizhou Tourism Resources Development Co., Ltd., the main body of the project implementation and investment and financing platform, held a forum with Guizhou Chengkang group in Guizhou Hotel International Conference Center on November 9, 2012, and concluded a strategic alliance to develop Libo ancient town tourism project.

After the completion of Libo ancient town, it will become a national cultural tourism complex project integrating Chinese classical architecture, garden art, Guizhou national cultural heritage protection and performance, covering six elements of food, housing, transportation, tourism, shopping and entertainment.

Historical basis

The history of Libo County can be traced back to "the establishment of Libo Prefecture in the Tang Dynasty, the establishment of Libo Prefecture in the Song Dynasty, and the establishment of Shicheng in the second year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty". Libo stone city began in the second year of Qianlong reign of Qing Dynasty. It was built in mengshili. The perimeter of the city wall is 546 Zhang, and the height of the city wall is 18 feet and 5 inches. It has four gates and four turrets, including Dongxu, Xicheng, Nanxun and Beigong. In the fifth year of Tongzhi, it was destroyed by soldiers. In the ninth year, Qianlong, magistrate of Tongzhi County, set up the East Gate moon city. The perimeter of the city wall is about 30 feet long, and the height can be 10 feet or 6 feet. A spring is dug in the middle, surrounded by stones, and dozens of stone ladders are built. It is called Yongji spring, which is convenient for people to draw food.

The stone city of Libo was first built in the two years of Qianlong, and was destroyed in the five year of Tongzhi for the first time. During the period, Tachi Kenji and the Department of education established the Confucious'temple, Wu Temple, the celebration palace, the economic aid institute, the habitat stream, the Social altar, the Shinong altar, the calendar altar, the Wenchang palace, the Kui Xing Ge, the Liquan academy and the Town God's Temple public buildings. They have been developing for 130 years. Now according to the "overall planning of Libo County" (revised document in 2008), and the history of Libo stone city, the restoration and construction is carried out.

(Note: * mengshili: place name, town. Libo has had 16 townships since ancient times. Before Ming Dynasty, it was called Shili. During the reign of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty, it was changed to Li, which was called Shili. Before the Ming Dynasty, the county seat of Libo was in the village of Lai Lai Lai (LI) La Li (now Lai community). In the Qing Dynasty, the county was governed by Fang village instead of Shunzhi. At this time, Lai Lai (LI) was called the old county. In the second year of Emperor Qianlong's reign, Zhang Guangsi of Guizhou government asked Emperor Qianlong's permission to move the county to Quanheng village in mengshili (now the county seat) in 277 years

Tour route

Land tour route: starting from the tourist service center, you can pass through Shui tribe, Buyi water town and Yao Tribe to Miao village. You can pass through four ethnic tribes and enjoy the ethnic customs performance of each ethnic tribe. You can take a battery car or ox cart and ride a horse to visit the whole ancient town of Libo. At noon, you can also taste a long table banquet of Yao nationality with strong Yao customs in Panwang square of Yao village, also known as“ From the fisherman's Wharf, board bamboo rafts, boats, etc. and visit the ancient town of Libo on the water.
