An unsolved mystery
There is a phenomenon in anzhen castle that people can't understand: after more than 100 years of construction, every corner of the castle has never formed a spider web. Mysteriously, there are two murals in the castle, which were painted when the castle was built. One is "a thousand spiders sweep away", in which a fairy boy is sweeping away the falling spiders with a broom; the other is "ten thousand bats attract", in which the fairy boy waves banana leaves to put bats into a huge gourd.
Looking carefully, we can hardly see any spider in the castle, but spider webs can be seen everywhere in the ancillary buildings just tens of meters away from the castle. Every summer and autumn evening, there are a large group of bats flying to the castle to live. Of course, the reason why there are no spiders in anzhenburg can't be as simple as the murals. With the help of the teacher, Luo Chunhe and other students from Yong'an No.1 middle school explored the real reasons for the lack of spiders and mosquitoes in anzhenbao through searching information, investigation and interview, field investigation and hands-on experiments.
After nearly one academic year's research, it is finally concluded that the direct reason for the lack of spiders and mosquitoes in anzhen castle is the existence of a large number of bats; the basic reason for the lack of spiders and mosquitoes in anzhen castle is the uninhabited and unlighted environment in the castle.
Therefore, Luo Chun and his classmates won the first prize of the 18th Fujian Province Youth Science and technology innovation competition.
historical significance
Anzhenpu is one of the best preserved ancient rammed earth buildings in Fujian Province. It was listed as a provincial cultural relic protection unit in 1991. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, bandits swarmed and built anzhen fort to protect family property and protect the local people. The outer wall of the fort is built with block stone, which is 4 meters thick and unbreakable. The gate is double, very thick, and riveted with iron plate. The top of the gate is equipped with water injection hole, which can irrigate water to resist fire attack. The two corners of the front of the earthen Fort protrude into the turret, which is conducive to the defense of the main door and the two side doors.
There are 96 observation windows and 198 shooting holes on the outer wall of the gallery. The earthen fort is defensive. If there is no attack, the defense will be silent
Anzhenbao was built in 1885 and completed in 1899, with a construction area of about 6000 square meters. The wall of anzhen castle is thick and the house is deep. The outer wall is built with thick stone and rammed with soil. There are 198 shooting holes and 96 windows on the four walls of the wall, which can be aimed at all directions.
In front of the fort, turrets are built on both sides, which can be used to attack the enemy from the front. There is a drain hole on the top of the arched gate in the middle, which can prevent fire attack. The front part of the plane is square and the back part is semicircular. With the rise and fall of the terrain and the 1200 square meter playground in front of the gate, the whole anzhen castle is like a huge ship sailing on the blue sea.
Beam frame
Open the heavy riveted iron gate of anzhen castle, and you can climb up the stairs. The front and back courtyard of anzhen castle is divided into two floors. The wooden building structure is mainly of bucket structure, supplemented by beam structure. On the central axis, there are layers of halls arranged symmetrically. Each of them has its own characteristics. It not only has the overall aesthetic feeling, but also has the change of layout format. There are 18 halls, 12 kitchens, five wells and 368 rooms for more than 1000 people. In addition, there are special storehouses, barns and wineries for storing valuables in the castle. The floor, side walls and door openings are covered with soil and other fire-proof measures. Inside the fort, the pillars are high and the beams are big, which is magnificent. Stroll among them, you will feel the ingenuity of architecture, the beauty of decoration, the elegance of atmosphere. As if in the palace of architectural art.
Well preserved
Brush away the dust of history, you can see under the eaves, brackets, doors, windows, sparrows, and column foundations, all kinds of finely carved decorations can be seen everywhere: gorgeous and exquisite nanmu reliefs, vivid and eye-catching mural paintings, and all kinds of clay sculptures are also lifelike. The themes are mostly from Opera stories or classical novels.
There are more than 50 masterpieces of painted murals in good condition, such as Mudan Zhengyan, carp spitting water, wintersweet greeting spring, etc. There are many couplets in the castle. For example, the first column of the main hall contains "an Congjing, later sincerity, self-cultivation as the foundation, Zhen Zhe's good work, virtue and material should be carried to heaven", which enlightens people to cultivate their self-cultivation. The calligraphy in the castle is powerful and dazzling. We can't help but feel some regret that anzhenpu is located in a remote place with mountains and has not yet been fully and systematically developed.
