Panlong River

Panlong River, the source of which is located in yaokangxia village in the south of Damu mountain, Tongshan, Xianning, is winding for four kilometers, just like Longpan gorge. Introduction to scenic spots

Puqi rock is located in the lower reaches of Panlong River, and it is full of mythical color. It is said that as early as the beginning of the Qin Dynasty, in order to expand the land area, the first emperor of Qin decided to row mountains and reclaim the sea. This move moved the emperor. The emperor sent a goddess to help him drive the Red Cliff mountain in Puqi to this place. The goddess chose this place as the place where the Buddha lived and did not go forward. The local people called it Puqi rock. In the north, East and south of the mountain are cliffs, which are hard to climb. On the north side of the cliff, there is a round hole less than 30 cm in size. Looking inside, it seems that there is a Bodhisattva sitting in it. Because the hole is very small, it can be inferred that this image is not artificially carved, so the Buddhist monk biqiu is well-known for his sincere worship. Incense burners come in an endless stream all day long. In order to facilitate pilgrims from afar, the disciples of believers chiseled the wall in front of the Buddha cave to pave the road, built a series of long corridor style temple houses, dug wells not far away to get water, and in recent years installed electric lights, telephones and closed-circuit television for worshippers to worship, eat, live and rest. The mountain is like a battle flag, facing the West. Its cliff is like a flag, like a tiger, so it is called Tiger flag Buddha cave.
