Characteristics of temples
Biyan temple is located under the semi closed Boulder, so there is no need to build pavilions in its halls, which is the unique style of the temple. What makes pilgrims even more strange is that at the top of the cave, there is an ancient vine with a thousand years of history, which is called "the lotus of Chiba" among the people. It is evergreen all the year round and has white flowers in autumn. On the top of the cliff, there is a clear spring, which is called "Biyan Feixue", which is the crown of "eight sceneries of Luoyuan". On the top of the cave, there are three big characters of "huixianyan". On the wall of the cave, there are four big characters of "Jiayun spray snow" in the middle of the poem. In the cave, there are remains of myths and legends such as liumiyan and jinchenlong. Looking from inside and outside, the mountain is steep, either crouching like a tiger or absorbing water like a giant elephant. On the front cover of the cave, you can see Biyan on the mountain, just like a lion roaring. The temple is in the mouth of the lion, so Biyan is also called "Shiyan". There are three existing steles in the temple, including Qianlong's poem stele, temple annals stele and cliff stone inscription of "flying spring on stone wall".
