Collection
Huang Yongyu Art Museum has a building area of 4200 square meters and an exhibition hall area of 2600 square meters. It is divided into a preface hall, an art and life hall, a world of painting and calligraphy hall and a collection hall.
In the preface hall, there are large-scale bronze carving "Mountain Ghost" (800cm × 300cm), Huang Yongyu's giant painting "picking lotus as a garment" painted at Jishou University, heavy wood and large-scale photos of Huang Yongyu sleeping at the bottom of the Three Gorges river for 15000 years, as well as large-scale wall hanging Tujia brocade and craft patterns.
The exhibition hall of art life takes culture as the visual angle, takes Huang Yongyu's life and art world as the track, and takes five life stages of "the scenery that will never come back", "the dissolute man of wuchou River", "the noble talent of depicting new life", "the crafty people in Xiangxi during the" Cultural Revolution "and" one hundred thousand wild flowers falling asleep "as words, charts and photos. In this way, we can make a vivid interpretation of human civilization and wisdom, and provide a vivid example.
The exhibition hall of calligraphy and painting world displays some art works (including sculpture, woodcut, painting, calligraphy, etc.) created by Mr. Huang Yongyu, mainly ink and wash painting. This is a world full of imagination and creativity for studying and studying Huang Yongyu. This paper focuses on Huang Yongyu's superb skills and artistic style of integrating ancient and modern Chinese and foreign cultures, and peeps at Huang Yongyu's unremitting pursuit of human wisdom and the figure of the wise man who has constantly created. Among them, there is a huge piece of "pine wind like waves" (1500cm × 5500cm) and other works.
There are nearly 200 cultural relics on display in the world exhibition hall, including the pottery sculpture group of Zhongshan state, the stone coffin of Tang Dynasty and Weng Zhong of Song Dynasty. From Longshan and Yangshao to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the main exhibits are pottery from the Warring States period to the Han Dynasty, from which we can see Huang Yongyu's rich knowledge and aesthetic orientation of traditional Chinese culture. All kinds of exquisite handicrafts in the Han Dynasty, especially Huang Yongyu's, show the beauty of naive and unrestrained romanticism and ancient and clumsy momentum in shape, pattern, skill and artistic conception.
"The work of art has always been revived as it should be in later generations, passing through the dead zone of several eras that refused to accept it." This is Mr. Huang Yongyu's favorite phrase of Brock.
On October 1, 2006, Huang Yongyu Art Museum opened in Jishou University.
