On the top are four flower baskets attached to the beams, namely plum, orchid, peony and chrysanthemum. Through a small patio to the third entrance building of xujiating, you can see a frame of a dragon's gate, inverted beam mats and angled sparrows. Some of them are simple in shape and unique in conception, while others are delicate and meaningful. Their functions and aesthetics are very harmonious. They can be regarded as exquisite wood carvings in the south of the Yangtze River. The most striking thing is the two large wooden pillars on both sides, which are carved with animal face and human body. They are totem pillars. They do not have the ancient style of Greek sculpture, nor the tranquility and detachment of Chinese Buddhism. They are puzzling, and even have a sense of mystery and dignity of fear. Upstairs, there are also various kinds of wood carving components, such as working tools, beam mats, hanging, bucket arches, cornices, railings, lintels, window lattice, skirt boards It can be said that there are all kinds of things. Around the exhibition hall are all kinds of landing long windows and ornaments. The patterns include historical figures, opera stories, flowers, birds, fish and insects, landscape landscapes, such as "Eight Immortals crossing the sea", "Legend of Yue Fei", "squirrel eating grapes", "plum orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum", "two immortals of harmony", "happiness and longevity", "fishing, firewood and farming", "Romance of the West Chamber" and other allusions.
