Juguan Gugong jujube garden
Juguan Gugong jujube garden is located in Juguan village, beside Niangniang River, qijiajia Township, Huanghua City, Hebei Province. It is the largest and oldest existing ancient winter jujube garden in China. In May 2006, Juguan Gugong jujube garden was approved by the State Council as a national key cultural relic protection unit, creating a new category of cultural relic protection in China. So far, it is the only national key cultural relic protection unit for plants, with a history of thousands of years Dongzao, a national treasure, has been scientifically protected in the new era.
In March 2006, dongjuguan village, where Gugong Zaoyuan is located, was rated as one of the first batch of provincial rural tourism demonstration sites by Hebei provincial government. In March 2014, the "beautiful village construction" of dongjuguan village was officially launched to build a coastal ecological village in Hebei Province. In September 2015, the National Tourism Administration announced the list of the first batch of "tens of thousands" of rural tourism brands, and dongjuguan village was selected as "China's rural tourism model village".

The jujube garden covers an area of 1000 mu. There are 1067 ancient winter jujube trees. The minimum age of the trees is more than 100 years and the maximum age is more than 600 years. The ancient winter jujube trees in the forest are robust and grow normally, which can be called the living fossil of winter jujube trees. Juguandong jujube is famous for its thin skin, tender and crisp meat and sweet taste. Since Zhu Xiaozong of Ming Dynasty appointed Juguan Dongzao as a tribute in 1490, Juguan Gugong jujube garden got its name every year until the end of Qing Dynasty. In 2006, it was announced as the Sixth Batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
Juguandongzao large-scale planting began in the early Ming Dynasty. According to the genealogy of the Liu family in Juguan village, "my surname Liu lived in Jimo, Shandong Province. At the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, Zu Honggong led his four sons and two nephews to move to Juguan in the northeast of changluyan Town, Cangzhou, Zhili. At that time, there were few people, the houses were scattered, and jujube trees were growing. Hong Gong planned to manage his business. He compared his Yin and Yang, watched his flowing spring and tasted his fruit, so he built his house here. After that, the beach was opened to dry and mature land mu, and jujube trees were transplanted and grafted to form a forest, which is more famous for winter jujube.... "
In June 2002, Juguan Gugong jujube garden was identified as the first "origin and geographical protection zone" of fruits in China.
