Baiyanxi

Baiyan Longtan

Located in the upper reaches of Baiyan River, the scenic spot is a waterfall scenic spot with unique location and strange landscape. Baiyan Longtan waterfall is a double waterfall. A cliff with a height of more than 10 meters stands across the stream, and two white waterfalls fall from the cliff; the two sides of the waterfall fly down to Baiyan Longtan below. From the bottom to the top, it looks like two soaring white dragons coming down from the sky and rushing into the Longtan. The huge roar shakes the valley, splashes the water and waves, and the mist rises like smoke and rain. The cool air makes people relaxed and happy. It is said that there is a white dragon hidden in Baiyan Longtan. Sandalwood tree

Toad stone

For this toad stone, the local legend is that it was transformed by a fake monk in Baiyan temple. Because the fake monk had a bad mind, he didn't want to go to Buddhism. He used the reputation of Buddhism in people's minds to corrupt the rules of Buddhism. Later, he was punished by he Xiangu, one of the eight cave immortals, and left this strange appearance to be despised by the world. Legend has the meaning of punishing evil and promoting good. As a kind of rock, it is a special landscape.

Looking back

The scenic spot is located in the middle of Baiyan River, not far from toad stone. The rock is huge, and its shape is like that of a babbler crossing a stream. When it is on the road, it suddenly hears the voice behind it. When it suddenly looks back and stops, its shape is lifelike and lifelike.

Maitreya Creek

The scenic spot is located in the middle of Baiyan stream. There is a rock beside a stream called hungqi pond. There is a stone statue in the shape of Maitreya on the rock. The bald head with a big mouth, breast big belly, a blessing, a living image of Maitreya. Speaking of this statue, it is said that it was in the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties of the Houliang period. The cloth bag monk in Fenghua, Zhejiang Province, traveled around and came to Zhilin. Many people gathered around him. Among them, 18 children carried him to Baiyan river. When they arrived at the hungry and begging pool, eighteen children went into the water to play, and dragged Qizhi down to play with each other. Later, Qizhe wanted to go to Xiangji temple to study. The children didn't let him go, so Qizhe fixed the body on the rocks. The real soul came out of the body and traveled around. From then on, he left a lovely image of smiling and bare chest.

Muyushan

Muyu mountain is located on the West Bank of Baiyan river. It is a Zhaobi mountain in front of Baiyan temple. Its shape is like the wooden fish knocked by monks chanting Buddhist scriptures. Moreover, there is a magical phenomenon in the mountain. It is said that the middle of the mountain is empty. If someone knocks on one side of the mountain, people on the other side can hear the sound. Because of the above two reasons, it is named muyushan. According to the old man Zhilin, there was no Muyu mountain. When the Baiyan temple was built, the old monk built a secret passage in the temple to avoid natural disasters. After repairing the secret Road, the old monk asked people to bury it. The Muyu mountain is made of the earth picked up. It's said that when someone built a grave beside Muyu mountain, he once dug this secret passage. I don't know whether it's true or not. In a word, the magical Muyu mountain, the magical secret passage and the magical legend make the Muyu mountain more magical.

Baiyan Temple

The scenic spot is located in the southwest of Muyu mountain on the West Bank of the middle section of Baiyan river. It is a two-way quadrangle building. According to records, Baiyan temple was built in Qiande period of Song Dynasty, with a history of 1000 years. When it comes to the construction of Baiyan temple, there is a historical legend here: Zhao Kuangyin started his army in Chenqiao, fought in the South and North, and unified the nine countries successively. The only remaining state in the southeast, Wu and Yue, has not yet been pacified, so he raised his troops to the South. Qian, the king of Wu and Yue, knew that he was not his opponent, so he fled eastward. At the foot of Baiyan mountain, three thatched cottages were built to become monks. This is the earliest prototype of Baiyan temple. When Zhao Kuangyin learns of this, he will set up an army to arrest him. Zhao Pu, the prime minister, tried to persuade Zhao Kuangyin to give up the killing and put him in prison. Zhao Kuangyin felt justified, so he built a large temple at the foot of Baiyan mountain. It's a pity that the temple has been destroyed now. From the existing sites and relevant written records, we can still imagine the grand scale and the magnificent scene of incense in Baiyan temple.

Xiangji Temple

The scenic spot is located on the Linggang mountain beside the village. Xiangji temple is a quadrangle style, twenty-four Zoumalou style building, magnificent momentum. Temple across the hillside ridge, the East and west sides of the building, under the building has a gate, East Tower lintel with "Tianwei near" four words. The inscription points out that Zhilin is a residence of gods. A Taoist resort. What Xiangji Temple worships is not the Buddha statue in ordinary temples, but the Thunder God.
