Taiping Bridge
Taiping Bridge, located in Pingqiao Township, southern Sichuan Province, at the south foot of bawangpo, on the Ziyan River, is an important bridge from Baoning to Shunqing in ancient times. "Nanbu county annals" records: "it was built in the 10th year of Jiaqing (1805) of the Qing Dynasty. It was donated by the monks of Taiping temple and rebuilt in Hualin." The bridge, named after the temple, was changed into a highway stone arch bridge in 1976.
Taiping Bridge, built in the 10th year of Jiaqing reign of the Qing Dynasty (1805), is located at the entrance of Taiping hall. It is donated by the monk of Taiping temple. It is 45 meters long and 10 meters wide. It is built on the Ziyan river. It is an important bridge from Baoning Mansion to Shunqing mansion.
After the Taiping Temple monk Hualin rebuilt. In 1958, it became a bridge on Shepan highway. In 1976, it was changed into highway stone arch bridge.
Taiping Bridge is a double hole stone arch bridge with a span of 45 meters and a deck width of 10 meters.
In the Qing Dynasty, Taipingqiao was located on the main road from Baoning prefecture to Shunqing Prefecture. It was an important bridge in Nanbu county. In 1958, it became part of Shepan highway and the main road from Nanbu county to Nanchong City.
Taipingqiao is located at the entrance of changzhenkou, Pingqiao Township, southern county, Sichuan Province, on Shepan highway.
