Hongtou tribe is located in the southeast of Lanyu Island. The traditional boundary is from the present nuclear waste plant to Hongtou River, adjacent to the fisherman tribe. The slope is larger than that of other tribes. Hongtouxi is the main source of irrigation water, and the main cultivated land is from the back of the tribe and from the right side to Qingqing grassland, where sweet potato and taro are the staple food. Badaiwan and xiaolanyu are the main marine fishing and hunting areas of the tribe, and the beach is an important place for sacrifice. In front of the tribe, xiaobadaiwan is the place where our ancestors sleep. Today, about 80% of Dawu people and 20% of Han people live together and engage in business. Because it is close to the port and airport, it is open to the outside world and has a large number of immigrants. The health center of Lanyu township is the only unit to protect the health of Lanyu people, and the only post office is also in this tribe. The most controversial nuclear waste storage site is also at the end of the traditional boundary of Hongtou tribe.
