Gongcheng River

Gongcheng River, also known as chajiang River, was formerly known as Pingle River and leshui in Pingle county. It is a tributary of the Pearl River system. Beika mountain originated in Huangping village, Sanjiang Township, Gongcheng County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region

The main tributaries are: malinyuan River, Limu River, Supi River, Guishan River, Shangjiao River, crossroad River, etc. Gongcheng river is an important river in Gongcheng County, known as the "mother river of Gongcheng people".

General situation of main stream

）This section is called the gumuyuan river section. The main stream is 26 kilometers long and the rainfall collection area is 165.75 square kilometers. After entering Hunan Province, it still flows northward through Yuankou and taochuan, turns westward through Houshi River, and then flows southwestward through Longhu pass. This section is called Yuankou reach, with 42 km long main stream and 882.62 square km rainfall collection area. After entering the Gongcheng County, Ma Linyuan river flows into the village from the right side in the village of real village. Then, the Dragon Ridge, Liang Xi and Chang Jia are imported from the right side of the six ridge two crossing bridge, and then turn south, and pass through the Dashi Zhou and jiishan to the Suzhou River, and the SuPu River rejoins from the right side; then the Jiahui, Si an, Song Lin, and the duck pond * turtle mountain river flows from the right side; then, by the white sheep, there are upper Banana River in the Panlong River. It flows in from the left side; then it flows in from the left side through Huangbu and Jiaokou, and from fudiyan, and from the left side through Jiangbei, and from the left side through beidongyuan River in Xiaohekou; from Gongcheng Town, it flows in from the right side through Xihekou village; from Lewan and dulei, it flows in from the left side through Shijiang River and Lianhua River in Gucheng village; and from lingweitun, it flows out of the county.

Gongcheng river is 58 km long from longhuguan to Lingwei. It has a rainfall collection area of 2080.78 square kilometers, including 1936.57 square kilometers in Gongcheng County. The main stream of the above three reaches is 126 Li long, with a rainfall collection area of 3129.15 square kilometers (including 1026.83 square kilometers of transit water).

In Pingle County, it used to be called Pingle River and leshui. The river section is 41.14 km long. The total fall is 28.80 meters. The catchment area of the county is 1127.40 square kilometers, the riverbed is silt and gravel with sand, and some river sections are karst areas.

Main tributaries

The tributaries of Gongcheng River in Gongcheng County include malinyuan River, Limu River, Supi River, Guishan River, Shangjiao River, toukou River, beidongyuan River, Xiling River, Shijiang River and Lianhua River, with a total length of 342 km. The upstream of Xiling river is called Chengjiang River, and its tributaries include Tangyuan River, Fangtian River, Doujiang River, Chuanjiang River, chajiang River, Taohua River, Chaochuan River, Longgang River, kuzhu River, etc. The tributaries of Shijiang River include Taoxi River, Xiling River, huangnigang River, xiaoshijiang River and Dongke river. The branches of Lianhua River include Landong River, Puyuan River, sangyuan River, etc.

hydrographic features

From September 24 to 27, 1972, Pingle hydrological station measured the flood level of 117.37 m (Pearl base) in 1915 and 117.03 m (Pearl base) in June 1942 in the section between Xiezhong village and mantotang of Shasha commune. On May 17, 1971, the flood level was 115.31 m (Zhuji), and the estimated discharge of yangjiazhou ferry reach was 6200 m3 / s. The maximum flow is 9 458 cubic meters per second, the minimum flow is 8.1 cubic meters per second, the average flow is 130.10 cubic meters per second, and the annual average runoff is 4.103 billion cubic meters.

Water conservancy development

Since 1960, baihutou, banshanwei, Hubao hydropower stations and longshanzhou, Weizi, Changtang, longquanyan, huangjiachong water turbine pumping stations have been built.

In Hunan Province, Yongming River, a tributary of Xiaoshui River, and Gongcheng River, a tributary of Guijiang river, are used as the main channel for the East Route of Xianggui canal. From Pingdao to Daoxian via Xiaoshui to Yongming River, an artificial canal is excavated at bailinggang near Chengguan of Jiangyong County to cross the watershed, and then to Pingle via Gongcheng River to join Guijiang river. The eastern route is 332km long from Pingdao of Xiangjiang River to Pingle of Guijiang river, of which 42km is an artificial canal, and 17 new steps are needed. The state will invest 39 billion yuan to connect the Yangtze River and pearl river systems, so as to realize the national waterway network. At the end of 2011, the river transport development plan of Hunan Province has passed the expert review organized by the Department of transportation of Hunan Province.
