Taoyuan Confucius Temple is located in Hutou Mountain Park, Taoyuan City, Taoyuan County. It was completed in 1989. It is the last one among the official Confucius temples in Taiwan. Now it belongs to the joint management office of Taoyuan County Government.

A palace like building in the North was built in the form of Xieshan roof. Because there was no Confucius Temple in Taoyuan area before, it was proposed by local people Shi Wanquan and Jian Qibiao in 1985 and officially completed in 1989. The whole building includes Lingxing gate, panchi, Dacheng gate, Dacheng hall, Chongsheng temple, ritual gate and Yilu, dongxiwu, etc. Taoyuan Confucius Temple is different from other Confucius temples in China in the setting of Confucius statues. Most Confucius temples offer Confucius tablets, while Taoyuan Confucius Temple has a statue of Confucius.
