Location context
Darbin Lake National Forest Park in Inner Mongolia is located in NOMIN Town, Olunchun Autonomous Banner, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia,
Located in the south slope of the east foot of Daxinganling, the middle and upper reaches of Nuomin River and bila River Basin, it belongs to bila River Forestry Bureau of Daxinganling key state-owned Forest Management Bureau in Inner Mongolia, with a total area of 22081 hectares and a forest coverage rate of 75.3%.
topographic features
In ancient times, it used to be a primitive ocean, scientifically known as the Mongolia trough. At the end of the Carboniferous, due to the drastic changes in the crust, there were sea land interactive strata, the Permian submarine movement, strong folds and the withdrawal of sea water. The crust in this area has undergone great changes due to the continuous eruption of strata faults and volcanoes, and basalt overflowed. After continuous leveling and denudation, today's landform gradually formed.
The park is mainly characterized by northern primeval forest, river valley wetland, dormant volcano, lava landform, volcanic barrier lake and geological plate fault zone canyon. It can also enjoy the temperate broad-leaved forest landscape formed by the penetration of volcanic eruptive plants, with forests, mountains, rivers, lakes, valleys, strange peaks, strange rocks and other landscapes. There are many rivers and lakes in the park. The tributaries of Nen River, such as bila River, NOMIN River and zhaven River, run through the park. The park has the largest alpine lake on the West Bank of Nenjiang River - darbin Lake; the Grand Canyon of Daxing'an Mountains - Shenzhi Gorge; the thrilling drifting river section - NOMIN River and the concentrated Rhododendron forest in Xing'an - darbinluo; the concentrated lava sea - Zawen and Sifang mountain volcanic sites; and the vast lake and wetland communities. Integrating mountains, water, agriculture, forest, gorge and spring, Wushan, Sanshui and bishentian is a true portrayal of Daer Binhu National Forest Park.
Darbin Lake National Forest Park has four Volcanic Group sites in Zawen, Sifang mountain, Kongtong mountain and NOMIN river. Four active craters, Wudalianchi and Aershan are located in the Cenozoic volcanic activity zone of Northeast China. According to the eruption types, they can be roughly divided into Hawaiian, stoneberry, arbini, mar and composite volcanoes. It has the same geological and geomorphic landscape as Wudalianchi and Aershan. It also has many volcanic types, large scale changes, relatively well preserved, rich tourism resources and other advantages.
Climatic characteristics
Daer Binhu National Forest Park belongs to the continental monsoon climate of cold temperate zone. Due to the barrier of Daxing'anling mountains, the Mongolian high pressure and Siberian cold current are weakened to a certain extent, while the warm and humid southeast monsoon rises along the south slope of Daxing'anling mountains, which often leads to rainy weather on the wind side, making the area warmer and wetter than the north of the five ridges, which is conducive to the growth of trees and crops, and the annual average The average temperature is - 11 ℃, the maximum temperature at extreme end is 35.4 ℃, the minimum temperature at extreme end is - 45.4 ℃, and the annual average precipitation is 400-500mm. The early frost period begins in early September, and the late frost period ends in May. The frost free period is 130 days, and the plant growth period is about 110 days.

Linhai stone waterfall
In the past, Daer Binhu National Forest Park, together with the operation area of Bilahe Forestry Bureau, has always been a primeval forest reserve reserved by Daxing'anling Forest Management Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. With the development of this primeval forest area, Daer Lake National Forest Park and "Linhai stone waterfall" have gradually been stripped of their mysterious primitive veil, revealing their true face to the world. Walking into the park, you can see the oval Zawen crater and the spectacular gravel belt hanging around the crater at first sight. This gravel belt stretches like a waterfall and falls down from the crater. Local people call it "Linhai stone waterfall". This "Linhai stone waterfall" is formed by the volcanic lava erupted when Zawen volcano erupted about 90000 years ago. It is also the only "stone waterfall" found in China and even in the world, which can be called a wonder of the time.
Rhododendron forest in Xing'an
The Rhododendron forest in Xing'an is surrounded by "forest sea and stone waterfall". In the middle of May, the colorful rhododendrons of Xing'an bloom on the basalt that has been sleeping for more than 90000 years, against the snow that has not yet completely melted. Red azaleas and white snow complement each other. They are distributed in an orderly way. The garden is like a fairyland. Therefore, it is also called "Rhododendron Valley". The annual Xing'an Rhododendron Festival,
